Yep. I thought he looked decent but everyone said when we signed him we don't actually need him and I agree. No great loss.
granted but just in terms of numbers, quality players and players who have the technical ability to do a job in more than one area (Taider seemed more than capable of playing further forward/wide from the little I saw of him). Big couple of days ahead. An injury to Clyne, Fonte or Tadic especially and we are suddenly looking very short.
So Hernandez couldn't even get on as a sub for Man Utd today, surely worth another go at offering him a route out?!
When you have Mayuka on the bench today as our only striker option, you know the squad is paper thin as it was last season and look what happened mid season when the injuries mounted up. We desperately need 2-3 additional players in before the window slams shut. Hopefully playing so well and sat in 6th might help us recruit
We need a winger, and that's probably it. Would be nice to have another CB too. Hopefully Rodriguez will be back in mid-October.

Well it is what we need (assuming the CB can also play RB). But yes, unfortunately I can't see us getting all three in just 48 hours.
I think we will end up getting a winger and that will be it. For me the most important position is a striker as I do not trust Long and Pelle to get the 25 goals or so needed between them, but we have spent roughly £20m on forwards so the club may feel that we have strengthened enough in that department.
I appear to have completely missed what happened with Taider. Did he throw a Joe and Dan style hissy fit?
According to Koeman, he couldn't accept not being picked to play. Ron thought he wasn't ready as he had missed most of preseason. So sounds like s hissy fit.
