He is one of us. One of our loyal supporters. He looks different and acts different and is a legend. He did the walk to Wembley with us. He turns out at night away game midweek in the rain. He is there every game and has been one of us all of his life. We love his difference. We are QPR.
You are such SCUM. What a thing to write. His family / kids could read this and you call him a ***** because he wears a hat and smiles. Why don;t you F^^K off TROLL!

Internet Trolls Really Are Horrible People 75.2k 8.6k 630 Narcissistic, Machiavellian, psychopathic, and sadistic. By Chris Mooney medfr06751 The Internet is sadists' playground. Medioimages/Photodisc In the past few years, the science of Internet trollology has made some strides. Last year, for instance, we learned that by hurling insults and inciting discord in online comment sections, so-called Internet trolls (who are frequently anonymous) have a polarizing effect on audiences, leading to politicization, rather than deeper understanding of scientific topics. That’s bad, but it’s nothing compared with what a new psychology paper has to say about the personalities of trolls themselves. The research, conducted by Erin Buckels of the University of Manitoba and two colleagues, sought to directly investigate whether people who engage in trolling are characterized by personality traits that fall in the so-called Dark Tetrad: Machiavellianism (willingness to manipulate and deceive others), narcissism (egotism and self-obsession), psychopathy (the lack of remorse and empathy), and sadism (pleasure in the suffering of others). It is hard to overplay the results: The study found correlations, sometimes quite significant, between these traits and trolling behavior. What’s more, it also found a relationship between all Dark Tetrad traits (except for narcissism) and the overall time that an individual spent, per day, commenting on the Internet. In the study, trolls were identified in a variety of ways. One was by simply asking survey participants what they “enjoyed doing most” when on online comment sites, offering five options: “debating issues that are important to you,” “chatting with others,” “making new friends,” “trolling others,” and “other.” Here’s how different responses about these Internet commenting preferences matched up with responses to questions designed to identify Dark Tetrad traits: E.E. Buckels et al, "Trolls just want to have fun," Personality and Individual Differences, 2014. E.E. Buckels et al, "Trolls just want to have fun," Personality and Individual Differences, 2014. To be sure, only 5.6 percent of survey respondents actually specified that they enjoyed “trolling.” By contrast, 41.3 percent of Internet users were “non-commenters,” meaning they didn’t like engaging online at all. So trolls are, as has often been suspected, a minority of online commenters, and an even smaller minority of overall Internet users. The researchers conducted multiple studies, using samples from Amazon’s Mechanical Turk but also of college students, to try to understand why the act of trolling seems to attract this type of personality. They even constructed their own survey instrument, which they dubbed the Global Assessment of Internet Trolling, or GAIT, containing the following items: I have sent people to shock websites for the lulz. I like to troll people in forums or the comments section of websites. I enjoy griefing other players in multiplayer games. The more beautiful and pure a thing is, the more satisfying it is to corrupt. Yes, some people actually say they agree with such statements. And again, doing so was correlated with sadism in its various forms, with psychopathy, and with Machiavellianism. Overall, the authors found that the relationship between sadism and trolling was the strongest, and that indeed, sadists appear to troll because they find it pleasurable. “Both trolls and sadists feel sadistic glee at the distress of others,” they wrote. “Sadists just want to have fun ... and the Internet is their playground!”
Trolls are susceptible to sadism, psychopathy, and Machiavellianism. The YouTube comment section is known as a special circle of hell—and that might be because the people leaving provocative comments are literally sadists and psychopaths, a new study titled “Trolls just want to have fun” has discovered. Canadian psychologists Erin Buckels, Paul Trapnell, and Delroy Paulhus set up a survey of personality inventories matched with “Internet commenting styles”—in other words, they attempted to psychoanalyze commenters, which should be cause for a Nobel prize (and hazard pay) in itself. What came from the study will likely surprise no one: people who like to troll are also likely to show signs of “sadism, psychopathy, and Machiavellianism.” Those three character flaws make up the ominous “Dark Tetrad of personality.” Sadism means delighting in the harm of others, psychopathy is an antisocial personality disorder, and Machiavellianism means a person’s tendency to be unemotional and deceitful. Trolls seem to have all three on lock. Of course, it might just be that the Internet has a tendency to turn people into sadists as a result of its anonymity. This was enshrined by the “online disinhibition effect” that leads us to treat other people online as less than human. (It’s also known by a less scientific name.) If we can’t see their faces, they’re not real, right? Not all commenters are psychopaths, however. Thankfully the study concludes, “Enjoyment of other online activities, such as chatting and debating, was unrelated to sadism.” So really I should feel sorry for you as you are 'sick' - I should say get some help - but I don't feel sorry for you - just wish you would go away. And for your 'fans' on this forum - it is like the kids who liked watching to bully pick on someone - shame on them all too.
Smug In Excelsis....Do you know what C H A V means? I suggest you look it up, when you get a moment off school.
Mods - I just PM'd you. Please can we take this post of the individual's picture down. I am imagining that he or members of his family (often young) might look at this forum and there is a picture of one of our fans being called a *****. I think this is offensive. I do not think any of us would like a picture of us put on the site with this commentary.
Not only is it offensive, it is actionable in law. If I were Swords, I'd issue a retraction, and quick.
We will never know if he was good enough for Juventus although as one of the world's top, top players he'd walk into any side.
Seriously fellas? It was posted last night and many posts were made since and not a thing was said about it. Not until LaLa decides to do his whole "I'M OFFENDED" routine this morning. Here LaLa, this is for you: http://www.wikihow.com/Keep-From-Being-So-Easily-Offended
As for swords comments and the post, I do know his family as I follow them on Twitter. All very loyal QPR fans who live and breath for the team, I don't know whether they are on here or not, but swords, as a fan who never goes to games, making fun of a fan who's been passionate about the team since moving here is a bit rich. I know it's just one of your throw away comments, but if you were a true fan you'd never use this forum to try and get a rise out of a loyal QPR fan. The fact that you continuously do it, accepting ban after ban just makes a mockery of this site, forum and the people who are members. As always you make yourself look an arsehole, I don't know why you'd enjoy being that kind of person?
The fact that you don;t really understand why this is offensive is sad. It is itself a form of sociopathy.
Not really been eading this Lone, but with respect to your comments on accepting ban after ban. its because the whole system is flawed mate. mods can only ban if a little girl...sorry poster makes an official complaint. most of us grown ups on here accept the foum for what it is and dont complain. there are those who want thier little power trip that complain to look good and thier are those who are just idiots and complain for the fun of it. the mods hands are tied and have to issue warnings and bans to those who "sometimes" dont deserve them...Its not thier fault, nor is it swords fault for the numerous bans. the most definately is more behind the scenes than some know..
I let it go before but I'm bringing it up once more. You said recently that I threatened you and also went looking for your IP address. You were lying through your teeth LaLa and I asked you to retract or apologise. You did neither. Do so now and you won't look such a wailing hypocrite. As for the lad in the picture, sorry if I caused offence to anyone else. Silly comment in retrospect but it sounded funny at the time. I do think everyone is far too easily offended these days but like I said, apologies for causing offence (all of a sudden - not last night) to people who've just seen it. (EDIT: Lone, how do you know whether I go to games or not? I've been to two so far this season.)
Lala - I totally agree with you - Swords is horribly out of order with that dispicable comment attached to the photo of a loyal fan, but you also need to remove the image in your <Reply with Quote> response - post #42.
I do understand the system for what it is Queens and it is flawed. Which is why most of us live within the rules so that it runs smoothly, it's just a shame Swords always over steps that mark so readily knowing where it's going. I'm not offended by the comment, but it is what it is, a really stupid comment and no need for it. My post is in no way calling for a ban, but I'm just asking swords why he does it?
Lone, to be honest, when I posted it it didn't occur to me that people on here personally knew the guy. I know that now and I'm sorry to you and the others. Its the worst thing a bloke can be called. (Not LaLa though. That guy posted a despicable lie about me when I wasn't around to defend myself and has since refused to retract it.)
The intention of my post was to point out to Swords that he could be sued over his comment, it was not to attack him. Pardon the pun, be he and I have crossed swords before, and whilst his opinion differs from mine on a plethora of things, this was not a personal issue, merely a bit of advice. Swords can take it or leave it, that's his decision.
