No. You put weed into the chamber, you turn it on, set it to the temperature you like, then turn the fan on to fill the bag with vapor. It just looks complicated because that particular model does more than one thing and in the picture it shows a lot of spare parts that come as standard. It fills a bag with vapor or you can just use the tube attachment and smoke it like a pipe. There is also an aromatic bowl for you to place *spices* in to let off pleasant smells. Personally I just use the bag, mostly cause I've always been a joint person.

I was off the cigs and off the ecig thing an all. I used honeyrose herbal cigs from holland and barrett for joints. Tobacco and nicotine free. Then I went to lanzarote and seen I could get 200 cigs cheaper than 40 at home I brought home 5000 cigs and am happily choking my way through them
