Were tickets still unsold yesterday, and available on the gate today. Prices are very expensive, and people know it will only go into the pockets of Gold and Sullivan which nobody wants.
You are right. I prefer the between match days I enjoyed the lower league stuff...apart from when it looked like we were going to throw automatic promotion to the PL. I enjoyed last year because we were relatively safe early and I actually got confident (rare for a Saints fan). I just hate this early stuff....want some points on the board so I can see how we are doing. I was better when I used to go to matches....get really twitchy watching at home...my TV is on and off more than an England cricketer.
Some of my favourite years were those relegation fights when we were down & out so early on, only to put together some magic points & defy the odds.. It wrecks your nerves, but the final day delight is such a special thing. Saying that, I don't want to re-live them, prefer to keep them in the archives.
Not good for the old ticker! I'm better at matches too, but I've got more relaxed about results in the last few seasons. Whatever will be, will be.
Gold tweeting that West Ham have made a new signing, who will be presented to the crowd before KO. Presumably Alex Song.
A Liverpool supporting mate would not stop talking about how much he'd like Song. Then he chooses West Ham
And not having to wash after being covered with soap at the beginning of each half and then praying for rain
