Now here is something to get really excited about, my only concern is that Political/budgiesoccer may attempt to steal all the pies and keep them as ransom for CWick or worse still Grunt hears about our pies, everyone would be starving on match days and Naarwich would be missing their 'larger than life' striker!! Townâs 2010/11 season may have brought few trophies on the field but the clubâs catering department celebrated a notable victory earlier today. The Bluesâ Portman Pie has been named the best in British football after winning the Hospitality and Catering News Pie League. The pie got the nod from Blues supporters Blues and visiting fans, beating Blackburn, Reading and Manchester United to the title. Dennis Sheehan from Hospitality and Catering News and representatives of league sponsors Moduline were at Portman Road today to present the clubâs head of conference and banqueting, Mike Rieder, with the award. Matt Purling from Adnams, Dave Boniface from piemakers Kentish Mayde and Town chief executive Simon Clegg were also present. Rieder told TWTD that the triumphant pie is result of several seasonsâ work: âIâve worked with Kentish Mayde now for eight or nine years and developed the pie directly with their baker. âItâs my recipe, which has been taken on, and in the last couple of years weâve put in an Adnams. Maybe this will help us in our quest for new signings!!
Oh no! How can we ever live this down? What a shame we are only a million times better than them at football
I bet this story is enough to make Delia turn to drink................................................!
Your honours list, or lack of it may dispute that fact. The sun shines on a dog's arse some days, make the most of it. You trill pecking loons will no doubt disgrace yourselves during this forthcoming season. Here's to you smashing Direby's points record FOYB
