Apparently Demba reccomended him to the owners and wages shouldn't be an issue if they met Demba's demands.
Source is Twitter but trying to dig for more substance.

As long as HBA wants to go!!!! he may well refuse the transfer.

He may sit it out and see if the axe falls on Pardew in the next few months. It seems the most sensible course.

This here is the biggest issue. It's the same with Obertan and the others we want shot of. It's not as easy as deciding we don't want a player anymore or even finding a buyer. If they decide to sit tight there is very little the club can do. Hope he does go though to free up the space as others have said.

Seems to have split the fans right down the middle, this one. Half blame Ben Arfa and his **** attitude, the other half blame Pardew because he's ****. Just a crying shame that his talent, for whatever reason, is missing.

Like you say, there is a lot of disagreement and doubt about who is to blame. There is no doubt who suffers through his failure to fulfil his potential (whoever is to blame) though. That's us - the fans.

We'll see, first it was Ukraine, then AC Milan. Both were bollocks. I think we're stuck with fatty. Anyway it appears he may have seen the light and apologised, they let him play a reserve game.

Just to throw in a little curve ball... If Alan has suddenly announced that the squad is 'full' when only days ago he was hoping for more signings, then maybe he has accepted HBA as part of the squad again?

More likely that Mike has told him it's full. No-one in until someone leaves.

I think I read something about us wanting to buy him out of his contract, don't quote me though.

Much as I don't like Pardew, I don't think that him leaving is going to make HBA any better. Face it, he's always going to be a lot of sound and fury signifying nothing.

Its not about Pardew at all really. Its about club rules. It doesn't matter who is manager, you can't do what HBA has. Robson certainly wouldn't have suffered him. Even KK (a stickler for hard work) would have been less than impressed. We'd all like a better manager, I'd still want a professional squad of players.
