This is how I would start the sunderland game Green Onohua ferdinand caulker Isla fer phillips barton hoillet Austin varga
That seems to sum it up at the moment mate and here is me thinking the last campaign seemed disorganised!!
If Remy has gone, Simpson has gone, Traore has gone, Tarrabt isn't fit, Yun is still injured and Vargas is still unavailable, I'd go with this: --------------------------Green---------------------- -------------Caulker-------Rio--------Onuoha-------- Isla-------------------------------------------Hoilett -------------------Barton--------Henry-------------- --------------------------Fer------------------------ -----------------Austin---------Phillips---------------
TBh, that aint a bad side and could get a draw....if you forget phillips of course As much as i hate to say it..I seriously think of putting adel up there wih Charlie......cant see any other viable option. May even get our cusomary "1 good game "out of him. Please dont start arguing...i am genuine
----------------Green-------------- ---------Caulker-Rio---Onuoha Isla--Barton---Mutch---Henry---Hoilett -----------------Fer----------- ---------------Austin--------
Not gonna even try to guess what Harry might do. If he puts Dunne on the left of a back 3 though, I will finally lose patients with him. Ok a win would be better but a draw will do. To draw we only need to not let any goals in. Being your only as strong as your weakest link and sadly for Dunne, I think defensively he is our weakest link of the back 3 due to his lack of mobility. If Harry cannot learn from what has gone before this season then he's as much a liability as the players. I'm not a Harry hater but I'm becoming less and less convinced by his selections. Big dose of wait and see I guess.
After all the events since my OP, I really give up on what team may take the field. Faurlin is unfortunately out. Austin might still not be yet ready to play. Who really knows what the situation with Yun really is? Traore, Simpson and Remy are, or could be in process of, being transfered. Vargas is probably still not eligible to play and his match fitness is unknown. In short it seems like a real mess and ideal scenario for another poor disjointed performance and bad result. However, this is QPR, and wouldn't it be wonderfull if we managed a superb result? But this is based more hope, or despair, than facts. Anyway the final result will be a suprise for me as I will miss watching the 2nd half. I will have to leave for the opening match of the Mens' Volleyball World Championship which are being held in Poland. Todays' opening match of Poland v Serbia will be at the national stadium and will be the world record attendence at a volley ball match of approx 62,000. It should be one hell of an atmosphere and I am actually really looking forward to taking part and seeing it. It should be a pleasant distraction fron our current off and on the pitch saga. Hopefully the boys at LR will also also create a great atmosphere and a pleasant suprise? We can always hope!
I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the kids get a run out just to let Redknapp enforce how desperately short we are. Who knows, we may get another "Hitchcock" moment.
We would all welcome a pleasant suprise with open arms, and Harry is the master of suprises. The only concern is that it all really seems to be "ad hoc". Perhaps there is sense in.all this apparent chaos and we are just too simple to.understand it?
Agree mate except it was Milan he was very good for. And his belly is a bigger now. I also won't be surprised if he's back with Milan by Monday sadly. But Arry said he played welll, and lasted 92 minutes, Wednesday, and that he will have a role today.
If Remy isn't playing I agree Adel would be a better choice than Phillips up front with Austin. Otherwise I'd play him instead of Fer as the 10
