I'm going to open old wounds, but isn't part of the reason we lost a few regular contributors recently is because they felt any anti-club sentiments were stamped on by the "Positive Police" We may not all agree, but I think it's only fair that we're allowed to speculate on what goes on and Whether Laura is a supporter or not, she should be allowed to say what she believes without being shouted down Back on point and Adam Blackmore has said he was told that Saphir was struggling with the physicality in training.
No point in trying to keep Taider against his will....he was hardly central to us and we have other players in his position. It may not be a paddy...he may really have never settled. He can never give his best under those circumstances.
I actually agree with Chilco here and I was the one of the people that disliked the Dan and Joe situation.
I am no loss to this forum, The biggest loss has been the regular contributors in last week. It has made the forum a poorer place
The real reason we lost a few regular contributors on here is a couple of self obsessed posters threw a childish strop and took their classmates with them.
In no way was I shouting Laura down, just pointing out that as a non-supporter of Southampton she only comes on here to write negative things.
Absolutely correct, for a long while I was fighting a virtual lone battle on the Echo web site, the neggies ruled, now a few more happy clappers have joined in I don't have to preach positive so much, still plenty of neggies and WUMs though!
I managed something non negative when I posted a thread for you all on match day uncovered this week. It is clear though that anything negative about the club isn't really to be tolerated around here. I have plenty negative views on Glasgow rangers. Just because they are my club doesn't mean I am any less critical of things they do
With regard to Taider, if he hasn't settled & can't hack it, then the club is right to get shot of him now while we can. Previous "board" would have had him sticking around all bloody season, being a nuisance at training and getting paid for sod all.
It's funny ... in the Cortese days, there was a select group who shall remain nameless who jumped down on you about anything negative, now its the same group being negative now about the new regime.
If people want to post negative things then let them, I say, as it is what they feel like posting. This is a forum to discuss all things Saints and any related topics, and is not exclusive to only positive things. After the summer the club has had, I don't think anyone can be surprised that some may feel negativity towards the club, the board, the players or whoever, and hence decide to post it on a Saints forum.
But when it is some one that is not even a supporter of the team constantly having a go at the board it gets annoying. Yes people will always have different opinions and be negative or positive. I get that, what I don't get is a person that doesn't support the club being negative over and over just because he or she is mates with Boruc.
It is called having a view or an opinion. You want to make it about boruc then you make it about him but don't speak for me and tie my opinions of club to a player. I have eyes and ears and can read and see what is going on. I actually quite like the club but people like you make me not like it
