It was me who said it on here after you blabbering about how over expensive Livermore was. I actually compared it to the season before, last summer was a bit in between now and before, I don't think anyone really took full advantage of the massive increase in TV money. Fees have risen a **** load more over the last 12 months than they did over the previous 12 months anyway.

Chelsea need a striker with Torres on his way and Remy would be unbelievable value at £8m.

 

QPR have signed Alex McCarthy from Reading.

 

Chelsea are somehow going to get nearly £13m for Torres.

 

That is still a loss of £37m.

 

The Torres deal is a 2 year loan deal. I think there's a big fee, but Chelsea subsidise his wages.

I thought the 'failed medical' claim was meant to be nonsense?

 

That's my point. The reason was he failed a medical, but they magically secured another striker a couple of days later.

 

Hmm, I dunno about that. They were always going to sign Origi as a project for the future (and loan him back out). And Balotelli arrived much later.

 

Saphir Taider has already left Southampton without playing a competitive game. He's gone to Sassuolo on loan.

Wouldn't write them off just yet, they will still spend and they've got Vargas on loan up front, he will score goals.
