Remember it took a while for Taider to sign from it being first reported. Sounds like he came here a little bit under duress as his gf said he hated it from day one which smacks of someone not willing to give it a chance. I don't know the reasons of course. It does not sound club related. Could be as simple as climate, family. He is a Muslim and perhaps he didn't feel comfortable in this country. Shouldn't take it personally

How can letting a player who has settled go back to Italy be a bad thing? Yes he looked promising but you can not blame the club for allowing him to leave. We still have Wanyama Morgan Prowse Cork Reed Davis/ Ramirez Him going now also gives us chance(hopefully) of replacing him, what if it had been a week later? Then I would have deemed it bad.
He sure wasn't for giving it much of a go but hopefully it is nothing more than that. Likely is seeing as he did not seem keen to join in first place.

Laura, I don't condone Olly's abusive approach; that is wrong and he should get told that by the mods, but can you not see that it appears that every post you make has a large dollop of negativity or innuendo against the board. You really for don't do yourself any favours.
And again i say i am entitled to post my views. I have never once got personal or abusive with anyone though i take plenty of it from other members. My view that there could be a deeper rooted problem here was also said by someone else. Maybe the guy was simply nothing else but homesick. I can take that on board and accept it as well
Yes, I agree FLT. Everyone is of course free to express their views on this board and Olly shouldn't be so rude, but Laura, you don't really have any connection to Saints apart from knowing Artur Boruc and you used to only comment about him. Nowadays however, you seem to appear every time something vaguely negative happens and start giving us all grief about how terrible the club we support is. As I say, you are welcome here, but please don't always be so anti-Southampton.
