It looks like this good be a very busy few days not only for QPR but other clubs too especially Man U where VG has talked about getting a new set of players by Monday!! Get ready for an onslaught of posters from other clubs accusing Harry of over spending, us being the new Pompey (again!) and buying new players does not guarantee success - agreed!! I would be surprised if there are not two to three more in by Monday 23:00 and not at all surprised if Remy has gone by then too. Roll on Monday (the new Thursday just for one week) 11pm.
May well turn out to be the singularly most important day in QPR's history - We will spend fortunes, at least 3 players will come in - most probably 4, of that I have no doubt whatsoever, That will mean the pre-season has been a complete flop and we will need to have the right players giving their all and performing from the off. Come on Harry, one last majestic transfer deadline day - you can do it.
Harry must surely be hedging his bets in view of Remy's possible departure. Is the Iceman waiting in the wings, hopeful of getting his personal terms agreed using monies from Remy's enforced sale?
So far it looks like Simpson and Traore are gonners. To all intents and purposes Ale has gone. Waiting to see what happens to SWP. Waiting to see what happens to Remy. I still have a feeling that Phillips and Henry will go too.
I find it hard to believe that a man with the obvious business sense of TF is seemingly running such a chaotic transfer window. As ever, what we do know or hear rumoured is far outweighed by what we don't know that goes on behind the scenes. Let's hope they know more than they are letting on.
Still need a good striker. If Remy disappears then we need 2. Need a creative midfielder. With the unfortunate injury to Ale we now also have to replace him. Didn't want us to be bringing in more than 2 more players but looks like we need at least 4 now...... Just cut Swp loose, the utter waste of space and oxygen..... ....and then there's Tarrabat to deal with too....
Simple....We need to be one step ahead of the game rather than behind, as we often are. Crouch to replace Remy (not like for like but a body). Johnson for Simpson (we win on that one) Anyone for Traore it doesn't matter Likewise for SWP Ben Arfa/Knoeckart to replace Taarabt Rosicki to replace Faurlin McCarthy to replace Murphy
It will be any one of a number of brightly coloured tight ones. Literally one of the only good things about the transfer window.
Can't remember who did the Transfer thread last time - but whoever does, may I request a picture of the lovely Natalie in said yellow dress please at the top of the thread
