Did I ever show you the "jpg" of "Patrick Vieira" writing me a note dedicating his "next goal" to me? One of those Nigerian 419 scammers in the early days rather unfortunately picked the name "Patrick Vieira"- I told him I'd only send him money if he signed a piece of paper on Arsenal letterhead dedicating his next goal to me. He kept telling me that he isn't "that" PV, but I kept insisting. Sure enough, I eventually got a photocopy of a letter with an Arsenal emblem on it dedicating Vieira's next goal to me. (this was shortly after he had left Arsenal to go play for Juventus). Your reporter mate isn't Nigerian is he RHC?
I had one "internet marry me" once. I was using a female name to correspond with him. Same one I had marry me, I told him to kill his barrister by putting vitamin C in his coffee. He complied... ... I think that guy must have known I was pulling his leg he had to have... I think he was having as much of a laugh about it as me by the end.
It's all about giving scammers the run around! Certainly makes me smile thinking that they have actually caught a little fishy and I'm completely ****ing with them!
Being linked with the Norwegian "wonder kid" between us and Utd apparently. Remember years ago we said no to Michael Laudrup, Ronaldo and Schmeichel when they were all kids. Falcao apparently off to RM for £20m
LVG clear out has started Cleverley to Villa Zaha to Pa;ace Kagawa to Borussia Dortmund Wellbeck to Spurs Rooney to Cleethorpes Utd....OK I made that last one up!
They wanted half of that from us just to loan him? Could be Spanish club accounting at work (£20m = £40m) or just paper bollocks.
Makes Balotelli look overpriced... and Balotelli has made so many others look overpriced... What next- Messi sold to Stoke for £5million?
He'd never manage the cold February Tuesday nights in Stoke The Falcao transfer might look small but when you consider the wages involved combined with an unhappy (only just recovered from injury) player who is probably forcing a move to Madrid and with other clubs unwilling to meet the wages even for a loan deal its likely all Monaco can get for him.
I do the same to the scammers pretending to be from Microsoft phoning up every now and again. I bloody over thinking that they've succeeded, the pricks.
£3m!!!!!!!!!!!!! I admire Agger for this. Its clearly a move from the heart, not the lure of big money.
In an increasingly **** you world, something like this is very good to see. Its pleasing to see a player and club come to an agreement over a move that doesn't revolve around how much money both parties receive. Fair play to both club and player.
