Apparently no action is to be taken against Hearts in regards the thug running onto the touchline and assaulting Neil Lennon.

One suspects if this had been Celtic v Rangers and something similar happened the outcome would be quite different.

As was said, Lennon caused it all with his outrageous and inflammatory "standing watching the match".

It doesn't surprise me. Do what you want to a Celtic fan, player or manager it doesn't matter.
The SNP says blessing yourself could be a criminal offence but allowing your fans in to hit the Celtic Manager is not.
The two Rangers players who acted as criminals, Boogie, walloping the referee's arms and Diouf who committed a litany of offences and
was finally warned by the police got fined approximately a day's wages. Sally although he had to be pulled back by the old man got off
    Scot free.
We all know what justice is in Scottish Football, we are supposed to believe that Mr Regan will change all. The answer boys is never, never.
That crowd cannot change, the media the government all went crazy after Celtic knocked Rangers out of the cup. Rangers got 10 cards to Celtic's
    3. Wa s Rangers punished no. What was all the fuss about.
At Hearts/Celtic game a Hearts fan attacks the Celtic Manager because Celtic score. Is Hearts punished NO Who is PUNISHED CELTIC.
I kid you not Hearts and the SPL decide to cut 400 from Celtic's allocation to help to keep the crowds apart. Why not HEARTS or why not 200 from each club.
No that may seem to be impartial, that cannot be done in Scotland, Mr Regan tell us when you have made changes, real changes.

preston put your blue specs to the side for one minute. say an arsenal fan ran along the pitch to attack fergie at the emirates, would they get away with it?

the answer is no and you know it, however, you prefer to be an absolute ***t and refuse to accept this. For the record if he had done it to fat sally or no surname i would also think the book should be thrown at them

To be fair to the Hearts supporter, Lennon was asking for it after the way he celebrated the goal with his big GIRFUY in front of the Hearts fans.

Hearts won't be fined because they took all reasonable precautions and punished the supporter. They had flagged it as a high risk match, had extra policing and additional stewarding. The clown still managed to get through.

Hearts had followed the correct procedures. They should be no more punished for the behaviour of their fan than celtic should over the behaviour of theirs.

    Mr T.
How the hell can you claim Hearts took all reasonable precaution to prevent spectators from attacking anyone in the Celtic dug out.
The stewards were present in big numbers but they watched the match instead of the crowd behind them. If some at least of the Stewards
had been observing the crowd Neil Lennon would not have been attacked.
Its shameful that Neil Lennon who was the target of threats and abuse all year was not protected. It does not take the value of hindsight, to
work out that in front of an always hostile crowd that Neil Lennon could or would be attacked, fortunately for everyone that the crazed Wilson
was not carrying and hence did not use a knife or something similar. Judging by the hatred that some fans have for Celtic and N Lennon it would
    not have been a surprise.

Celtic got away with singing all those nasty songs too.
I'm sure that, the bizarre sending off and Neil Lennon goading the Hearts fans had nothing to do with that angry man invading the pitch

Celtic should be thankful that no punishment was made otherwise there would have to be an investigation into the coining of the ballboy who ended up in hospital and the attacks on the stewards who, as you say, were only watching the game!

It's good to see ST admit that Rangers are the real victims here. I'm impressed with his growing maturity. <ok>
