Watch the video and decide for yourself...... just seems to make it all up as he goes along to me....... just worries me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dG46ZSUJxAI
He definitely wouldn't make a career as a motivational speaker. He borders on the incoherent at times. He doesn't give stock answers though which always makes his interviews interesting. I was just delighted to hear that the thought Adel was our best player the last night, was excellent and will be involved tomorrow.
I actually found it reassuring. He seemed to be saying it just as it was with no sugar coating. I know some on here will say I am deluded but when he assured everyone that we would stay up this year I found myself believing him! With that happy, if deluded, thought, off to bed!
No disrespect OP but I'm the total opposite. I get angry with Harry for sh*t team selections, tactics, defeats etc but when I hear him speak I love him again! I can't help it
I don;t think he has much choice honestly. He HAS to speak to the press-it is part of the SKY / BT / TV money deal. The journalists ask awkward questions like - which part of the team is weak - what can he say... yes I hate X - he has to talk but give nothing away - it's not quite being like a politician but he is not as sophisticated as Warnock in using the press or The Special One - he is trying to say lots but actually say little. I don;t want him to say what he is thinking about team selection / who is going to play / etc on national press - that would makes a joke... he is kinda affable and maybe puts on the cockney wide boy act a bit as his brand 'Arry. I think he is quite straight given the circumstances. Would any of you like to give a weekly interview to the press about your contract at work, the team you work with etc - suddenly we can't expect our football managers to be TV celebrities - although some of them are good at it - 'Arry is Arry and I'm ok with this bit of him the team selections are a different matter...
I've been very anti-harry recently but actually thought this was a good press conference from him. He seems confident + in high spirits, which makes a nice change from the slumped defeatist "it's deeficult" bollox.
