It's not really the point but I don't think anyone thought 'we would go far'. I'm pretty sure 95% wouldve been happy to make the group stage and if we got through to meet teams kicked out of the UCL that wouldve been a massive bonus.
He is from Hull remind him of that. Ask him how many times does he go watch MU in real time in a season. I will guess at the answer.....ermmmm let me think.....the answer is zero (a big fat f*****g none). What a cnut.
It's a very fragmented begrudging City is Hull. People get more satisfaction seeing others fail than supporting their own. Also I don't have the time of day for Hull folk who support glamour clubs Tell em to get screwed mate
Who cares what egg chasers say or text or even tweet. RL is a small minority sport for the M62 corrider more or less. RL is dying on its feet. Leave them to it.
I shall be at the KC again tonight just to see how the derby has become so meaningless now. The fact that even sky sports are not even showing it Live says it all. Dont see either club doing much next season either. As for the RL superleague re-structure........ desperation rules @ RL HQ.
You only have to go look at Hull and Rovers record to see they're not as big as they think they are. Castleford, Wakeford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Swinton and Salford have all better records then Hull and Rovers. I saw a Richard Keys Tweet this morning saying it was a great result for City. I replied saying it maybe our only chance to be in record. He Tweeted back saying look at Charlton when they wanted progession.
I suppose another way to look at this is wasnt it something like their 50th game in Europe? We look at the respective wage bills and assume that must make us better. For me the galling thing is I don't doubt we were better if we'd played our f**ing first team in both legs.
I generally enjoy RL, I actually got quite into when I was seeing a bird who supported Rovers. But what makes to hard to follow is the farce that the RL is. Constantly changing league structure, game rules and milking the big games like the Derby. Wasn't it a few years ago Hull and Rovers played each other 5 times in 9 months?
Personally I think we should tried to kill the game in the first leg and then think about resting players in the second leg.
Anybody else see that knobhead Hull FC fan chanting and taking the piss as we queued for the park and ride bus home? What a cock.
Gutted you didn't made it last night... we got the worst draw ever possible... away to Legia Warsaw + Trabzonspor + 'Metallica' Kharkiv
"Hull FC" don't exist as far as I can see. Just another "Franchise Utd" like MK Dons (this coming from someone who used watch at the Boulevard). The only real RL team is Rovers now.
Why are you gutted that you won? Or is it the manner in which you won? I have never seen so much play-acting in my life and the referee fell for it. On saying that you kept hold of the ball well and attacked quickly.
A lad I work with who supports Leeds snapchatted me to mock us getting knocked out. He took a pic of him in his Leeds shirt with the caption 'we're all going on a European tour' ...I replied: Leeds?!! You're about 10 years too late!
