Source? Not on the official. Surely even playing 3 5 2 we need him as back up. Or is that Ned? Can there be more incominig at RWB and LWB if the Traore rumour is correct. This would be too many incoming for me, as Hughes summer.
Doesn't fit in as long as we are playing three at the back. Seems to have a good attitude and workrate. Afraid that we will repeat the previous mistake of ripping our promotion winning team apart and the team spirit that was there.
I'm all for traore moving on but I think Simpson is ok defensively He would be good back up, but would struggle in this unproven system, not sure this is for the best
Absolutely right. Worrying. I know we were behind the other by 4 weeks or so but this just does not seem right to me.
So much for all together Rs … Exactly what did I say about Harold buying players during last season … It's happening right before your eyes
@JasonBourne1986: RT @philcparry #qpr boss Harry Redknapp says an offer has been accepted from Leicester for Danny Simpson.
Nope don't get this.......squad being ripped apart again.......stand by for a whole load of loanees coming in next tuesday.....
Are these the players he referred to after Burton, saying he would ship out because they proved to him they weren't interested or words to that effect? He must have replacements lined up, surely?
As Ciarra says there is a real danger TF / Arry will rip the team spirit evident at the end of last season apart with all these changes if they happen. I agree we needed more quality, but Simpson and Traore are surely decent enough back up, and youngish blokes who could get better. This also strongly suggests we are sticking with 3 5 2. So why Arry didn't stick with it, and train it at Burton is an even bigger mystery for me
What joke!! Solid dependable back up right back. The 'right sort' Doesnt really suit a 3-5-2 but i reckon we wont be playing a 3-5-2 all season anyway
Ridiculous... I am still in awe of Danny when he got out-muscled last season, went to the ground, tackled the player with his freakin' head from the floor, stood up and was away with the ball. From day one he is screaming when we get caught out. I think this is a very, very bad decision. Wholeheartedly agree with the opinion that we are getting too many new players in and ripping out the backbone of the first team. Although there are a couple of players who don't have the legs for the Premiership, this is looking unfair, unjust and leaves us supporting a team of Hoops who are strangers to themselves and the fans. What do we do - cheer the remaining, loyal old guard as they sit on the bench?
It is gong to be a long season and, yet again, I fear we may be looking upwards for far too much of it. Even so, I think TF and Harry will engineer survival.
Dont agree with this at all . Better to have someone with club experience and is a solid performing back up - here we go again , so depressing !
Surprised to hear this one! Always thought of Danny as the right sort and a 110%'er. Doesn't feel like a transfer that would do well for morale of the squad either. Players might need their names on the front of the shirts so they know who's who.
Hope this doesnt happen...can you imagine him when he returns against us.....He'll rip Rio and Dunne a new one...!! Bad sale..easily good enought to make back up as Leicester will prove no doubt. So Harry ideas verus Pearson..this should be good ?
Just wtf is going on here? Simpson may not always rip up trees but he served us well last season and is a good alternative when needed. Who the flying ball-sack is coming in to replace him ffs? So Ale is gone to injury, Remy could be off at any moment, Swp is a waste of oxygen, Dunne is totally shot for a player in this league, Donaldson appears to only exist in some strange netherworld, Tarrabat is still hiding in his own rear orifice and Suk Young is invisible to Harry even when standing beside him offering him a cup of sake. and now Traore and Simpson are being offloaded at the last minute. Oh and not forgetting the new lad bought yesterday but sent out on a season's loan to Huddersfield hours later. This is starting more and more to resemble an utter, utter shambolic mess
