No, thank you Hull. It's great seeing lads who us fans love, doing well and going to another club who appreciates them. Tommy and Daws were two of the main assets for us when climbing back up the table into European places and so seeing Tom and Jake helping you guys get into Europe is somewhat reminiscent of our growth. Hopefully with the addition of Daws and any other guys you bring in, you can climb up the table and go beyond targets. All the best guys
Serious question - why wouldn't Man Utd have gone for him as a 2 season stop-gap? Now I'm no football manager but isnt he exactly the type of player they need at the moment? Heart of a lion, knows the league inside out, a leader. And he'd f**ing walk into that team now. I am 100% genuine when I say our 3 first choice centre backs are now ALL better than Man Utd's first choice 3. Who would ever have thought that could possibly happen?
No surprise at all. Been going to happen all summer but thankfully it is now a done deal. With James Chester suspeneded for the Aston Villa game a very welcome time to happen mind. Great to have another Dawson in the squad. I wonder if the VIP Dawson box is ready yet ?

Someone may well correct me, but the bulk of reports when the deal got resuscitated was for that amount.
