if you were a promising youth player in Scotland, why on earth would you sign for celtic? you would be stuck in the under 21's and would regress at a rate of knots. if you were 15 and had an offer from celtic and Dundee utd, you would be far better off signing for Dundee and getting real game time. lennon could have signed Russell, Robertson or gauld but they would not have got a game ahead of the "stars" at celtic park.
Much the same over at Rangers too. If my son is ever lucky enough to be courted by professional sides, I'd be telling him to go somewhere where you have a chance to actually get into the 1st team. Rangers and Celtic are toxic for Scottish football and its development.

He talks about quality them names all the players we have sold. He says everything is invested back into the club. By the club does he mean his 20 grand a week salary?
We could dissect it all day and I too have issues with what he's saying but we are in pretty good financial health and we need time to see how this group of players settles in. I have to be content with that. For now.
