Question for all those 'relieved' we are now knocked out, how did you feel when Aluko got the late goal vsTrencin? Were you gutted? And did you refuse to look at the draw for the next round cos it was a nightmare to be in this competition?
But there's absolutely no way of knowing this. If we finish 12th now you can say "i told you so" but we might have finished 12th anyway. It's preposterous.
We went out because we didn't think the competition was important enough to play our first team, personally I find that rather disappointing.
I'm sure it will help us to do better in the Premier League. But splitting with a fantastic girl will mean you have a better chance of going out with average girls. But is that good?
This is getting a bit too deep for me, am scratching my head. Am disappointed how its gone but it will help us this season, although Bum Chin is right in that it might not help us and in fact anything can happen! Time to have a cold shower and hope we get a point or two v Villa
I just thought you were saying that you weren't going to the match because you wanted to spend X + Y but you couldn't afford it despite you could have got in for X.
100% agree. I've 38, I dont think I'll ever see european competition for Hull City again and this is a s**t way for it to end. We havent lost, we've thrown it away. This is no insult, they can only play what's in front of them, but Lokeren weren't a team that should beat us over 2 legs. In the away leg (i didnt go tonight cos of my self imposed home exile) they were really s**te.
Spot on. But some of the players didn't live up to their normal performances tonight, think that's a fair assessment? At 22, I'm extremely proud that I've seen the team I've supported since the age of 6 - from when I lived on the street of the old "Kempton" East Stand, in a European Competition never mind in the Premier League. Bitterly disappointing, but time to look up!
