The only games I can really afford to go to are "Category C" where my ticket IS a tenner (and I'm at the very last year of my 16-22 band). End of the month = money tight. For me, football is a brilliant luxury and I support Hull City with everything I have - but other things have to come first.
No, but for the next two seasons, or even three, we need to try to establish ourselves at this level. The group stages could have stretched our resources this season. Surely you can see that.
I'd say we have a good team rather than fantastic. But we hope that we can eventually get a striker who is a real threat and have a team which can keep the ball as well as a fantastic one. I'm not complaining, just saying that there is obviously some development we can still make.
Not really, playing competitive fixtures when others are pratting around with PSFs is probably an advantage. The group stage, played after the season is well under way, would probably be a disadvantage.
Ridiculous. Complete guesswork. So go on then - you're predicting 4th bottom with European football so where will we finish now?
Course i see that but the point is I dont care about staying in the Prem at the expense on european football.
No point talking hypothetically really - we could have gone further in Europe and gone down or stayed up, we might stay up or go down now that we're out of Europe. Same applies to domestic cup runs. There's a lot of things that can make or break a season. We should be setting out to win every game, presumably that's why we've got 6 CBs and are still hoping to add more players before deadline day. We should feel gutted, like others said we might not get European football again for a long time. Off the top of my head I can't recall the last time we won a match and still lost. Anyone?
Without wanting to be too controversial I think Bruce will be secretly happy we are out of Europe. Which is a shame. But i can understand it as it might be the Europe games are putting us under too much pressure, if you read his comment about the Stoke match he said he had no time to do any preparation at all
Being in the Europa League and doing well would put us more on the European football map and makes us more attractive to good players.
In theory but imagine you are a parent with kids they want a programme or whatever, they have to get bus tickets, all kind of costs. Not everybody can walk to the ground. Its not too hard to work out why the attendance is down so much.
