... A p45 and see if he can make 9 changes to that! Once in a lifetime opportunity pissed away by fielding piss weak teams and "giving everyone a go". Unforgivable.
Sagbo in a game we needed to win? Where were Huddlestone and Jelavic - our two key players - when we really needed to take the game to them? On 70 minutes too ****ing late! What about the first leg? That line up was a shambles, and Lokeren were worse than a bad Sunday league team, we should have put it to bed in Belgium! Victim of his own success maybe but to piss on the biggest thing this club would ever have done is an insult. Get him out the door Allam.
No, he's a sensible poster who contributes to this board well. You on the other hand, are a WUM, and how the **** you STILL haven't been banned is ridiculous.
I must say it usually doesn't bother me that much if we lose...though of course I NEVER want us to lose. BUT I feel well pissed off we got knocked out of the Europa league . We may NEVER get another chance . :-( :-(
Id expect us to go deep into the tournament this Season, we've got a very good 2nd Team that should be there or there abouts the final Id happily lose to stoke, if I thought we would get a healthy win in Lockeren We would be better out of it tbh, yes its lovely traveling around Europe, and the poss of playing in big stadiums and getting to the group stages..But for me, in all honesty we are not ready for that, and we are not going go far in the Comp, im not being negative... and staying up is far more important, and i dont think we have the squad size to cope, we are 5/6 players short for a Europa League run.. I know a lot wont agree with me, but going out on Thu could be a massive blessing Get ****ed loser.
OK I'll agree strongly with you there, Sagbo in a HUGE game is a big mistake. Disagree with Lokeren being worse than a Sunday league team - they're through on merit because they were a decent team. Referee didn't do City many favours - except for a very jubious penalty. Apparently Hernandez may be close though.
Oh Lokeren were far better tonight. Last week they were terrible and had we played a team that might have been capable of scoring in a brothel (a centre half, a winger and a defensive midfielder with a non scoring target man as a lone striker?!) we would have obliterated them. We lost this last week, and starting without Huddlestone or Jelavic tonight was just throwing the towel in. And then just hearing Bruce say he wouldn't swap the point off stoke for progression to the group stages... What an insult. He's lost my support and respect.
Regarding that, I think Mr Bruce may have thought differently to us. To every Hull City fan, this was a dream that we didn't want to end. To the club, it's just football and some revenue. Managers and players come and go, fans will remain forever (unless they're plastic).
Yes, but Bruce isn't a fan. He's a realist. In the long term, what will benefit both his position at the club and the club itself - Premier League stability, or 6 games in Europe?
I know Hatty is a bit OTT but for all the good Bruce has done he's really ****ed up tonight and last week. It's just massively disappointing, we might never get this chance again. It's infuriating that Bruce clearly doesn't mind us being knocked out and just didn't give a **** from start to finish, when it's just massive for us. Lokeren away was my best City away trip by far, and we might never get to do anything like that again. Just for the sake of Villa afuckingway. I hate away goals so much, I knew we'd go out on away goals at some point cos it's just the most cruel, unfair and hard to accept way to be knocked out. The ref was a **** but how can we complain when we played Sagbo and Aluko and yet again were surprised that we had no attacking threat with them two. It's embarrassing how little goal threat we actually carried in both legs until the last few minutes when we were pushing for a goal both times. I know we got two today but both were against the run of play and we had hardly any other chances apart from the last kick of the game where Huddlestone somehow hit the defender on the line. Did their keeper make a save?
Glad I didn't listen. ****off Brucie. You've done a great job but let us down this week. What's the aim though? If we stay up, keep progressing slowly and if we're lucky might one day break into the top half eventually and one day just maybe, get into Europe. Why not just take that opportunity now?
spot on we ain't going to get into Europe through the league.. its just an aimless repeat of hopefully getting top half against stoke and villa and sunderland zzzzzzzzzzz **** sake
Must be in a minority then that thought Bruce called it right , you lot would be moaning again had we started our better larkers and picked up injuries , with the the first five fixtures we have in the league are massive all are/were very winnable and Europe was not worth the risk of picking up serious injuries
