Is Tamas a bit of a liability? Own goal and giving away a penalty isn't great..for an experienced International. I must say we hardly looked like getting back into the game....
McGugan was the only player on the pitch! The only one to show interest. Our best player by far! I don't blame him for being angry at his substitution, it made no sense. He's been inspired so far this season and I hope he continues with the improvements he's made in work rate.
It's rare that I disagree with you H...but got to disagree. I thought he was poor in a game crying out for someone to take control. Allowing for whatever tactics were being employed (if any were being employed) the whole midfield was virtually non-existant.
do any of you meet up before games charlton will be my 1st games this year as i fly in on the 4th sept . If people prefer to email pubs names i understand
Brian - I meet/see a few posters at away games. I bumped into Yorkie at Rotherham in the ticket queue and later inside and I always manage to catch up with H at away games. We will most likely to be in The Market Porter or the small pub close to it in Borough Market for the Charlton game..
That'll be The Rake. A wise choice, sir! I'm going to miss the game due to a brewery tour... I suppose that is a decent enough excuse.
I'll be in borough market and probably will catch you at the pub or in the ground, followed by a trip to potters bar to see elkie brooks! Whacky day!
I saw her when she was in Vinegar Joe in Snalbans back in the 70's - very enjoyable! I can also say I saw one of the finest singer songwriters this country had ever produced that night -RIP Mr Robert Palmer
