We've always played in the English leagues and been an integral part of it. Speaking for myself I always supported England (and all home nations) in Euros/WCs. My point about the England management appointments is a genuine bewilderment to me as it's been a criminal waste of playing talent over the years. I did like Bobby Robson mind. And you had a great Euros with Tel.

Chill out mate, did you ever think there could be some constructive criticism in there? Certainly from me. The Mrs is English btw.

Unfortunately (or not) you're not getting an ounce of support from me in the rugby though, I'll risk a divorce there :emoticon-0110-tongu

My girlfriend is English she had said what these are saying for a couple of years, the company I work for is employing lots of contractors from England and they too say Hodgson is being a twat overlooking Swansea players.

I personally don't think he has something against Swansea, I just think he is a **** manager who rates a player's ability on who he plays for regardless of the fact they might be a useless pile of crap not suited to the international game.

Routs, Dyer, Britton and Shelvey would have excelled against those teams in Brazil, their style is suited for it.

There were better players considered in preference to our players by the English selectors. It has nothing to do with us being a welsh club at all or why would there be England representatives watching our matches at the liberty. There is only routs that i would consider one of the best but its not my choice. the same with leon and dyer there has always been someone they considered better. It may feel as if our players are being ignored but they have been on the short list but others have got the nod....that is fair enough as the selectors have looked at many players not only ours and other teams fans think their players should have been selected and they are English teams, being a welsh club has absolutely nothing to do with anything even though it feels like that, we are the only club from wales in the premiership.

Roy is an idiot and most of the people at the FA are idiots, other than Sturridge and maybe Cahill the entire squad is poor probably the weakest since i have been alive.
I honestly didn't know how most Welsh view the English national side and i imagine if Dyer carries on playing well he may be the one that breaks through.
Swansea are a good side and don't just set up 4-5-1 and try and nick a 1-0 like most Premier clubs trying to stay up, the Championship is bloody easy compared and we should bounce back up hopefully.
I didn't intend to just come on here to WUM but i thought most Welsh hate the England side so i didn't understand why you were bothered about your players getting snubbed.

Dyer should have at least been in the squad years ago, and if Harry had been chosen, he had already primed Rodgers to be his number 2, and I know some of our Swansea lads would then have had a run out, Leon Britton is one of the best DM's in the premier league!..........<ok>

In yours and some others opinion only. I actually think the two of them are light weight and too small in today's international football and that is why others have been preferred. I dont think either were or are the best in their positions and i can fully understand why they never got the nod...

Shelvey wouldnt make the san marino team the way he played saturday! Imo britton and routledge should certainly have been on the fringes....but the biggest scandal for me is dyer not making the team.

Given England didn't win a single game in Brazil the evidence suggests that England took the wrong players that featured on May's short list.
