Ok, then, Alonso demeans himself... Yet again. It's funny, in a way, but Alonso has had a habit of diminishing the kudos he gets from his driving with his prima-donna behaviour. I do sometimes wonder... I realise that his competitive spirit dictates that he must win more WDCs but fans don't always see this as the be-all-and-end-all of a driver's talent. He's knocking on now and if he had more self-awareness he might think differently; although if he didn't think the way he does, he wouldn't be the competitor he is. He should seek out Nigel Mansell for advice in this area.
To true Badger GP ‏@BadgerGP 59s Send mechanics onto a grid of moving cars = 5s pen Drive off the track repeatedly = NO pen Drive like a racing driver = 20s pen. WTF1?!?
I reckon he'll give him a big pat on the back for fighting so hard to defend his position. Ron likes a racer.
Shame about the major controversy but nonetheless, a thoroughly entertaining, 'old-fashioned' race. At least eight and a bit out of ten…
On a lighter note, Kobayashi probably wants Spa off the calendar at this point: 2011 - Hamilton and Barichello crash into him 2012 - Grosjean crash takes him out from 2nd 2014 - replaced by Lotterer In a way I suppose it was just cutting out the middle man
BLS are you okay to do the next thread? I am away again... Thanks in advance, and to anybody else that posts it
