But Cllr Chris Holley, leader of Swansea City and County Council – said that the choice of Cardiff would be viewed with “amusement” elsewhere in Wales. “It seems to be the joker in the pack here,” he said. By the way - This post seems to have found its way to a football forum in error.
That's because he's jealous... And the forum is called "Cardiff City Forum", I believe this is about Cardiff, the City?
Patagonia is full of Welsh people as well. I suppose Swansea does have dramatic volcanic views across the bay to Port Talbot steel works!
Swansea a decent place.....if you like pound shops and jumble sales and would probably get more credit if it wasnt for the natives.
Well it would, wouldn't it, though it makes us laugh all the way round the Gower coast!................... please log in to view this image
You may have the best beaches in the UK (and, IMHO, you do) but even National Geographic agree, you still have a pretty ****ty city. Bitter much?
Last time I went to Barry Island I had to leave my shoes on, for fear of standing on the used needles scattered everywhere, and that's a true story. Barry Island has long since gone to the dogs.
Luke just to clear this up as im not sure if you took my 'what about Barry island' comment seriously, Barry island is horrible, really really bad but I would rather live in Barry than Swansea evey day of the week.
Cardiff for sports? Not so sure about that... Afterall, it can't offer premier league football can it? Nice to see you on this site though Luke because i remember from BBC that you were also a boxing fan? That was you wasn't it? Any how, if it was good to see you on here..
It was indeed, love my boxing almost as much as I love my Cardiff City FC. Getting goosebumps for Saturday already...
