He can run, my question would be over his temperament. The elbow at the WC and he had a fair few cards while at Arsenal.
He gives away a lot of cheap free kicks. In his last 2 seasons with us he played much more as a box to box player than a dm. Some of his attacking play was quality
If Lucas goes I fear we will be to thin in midfield defensively. But if we sign Song, or some one similar, I will be happy, as long as they are better than Lucas. We must only strengthen.
Don't know if this has been posted but - Divock Origi has revealed that he rejected an offer from Tottenham Hotspur to move to Liverpool this summer. The 19-year-old striker joined the Merseyside outfit from Lille for a reported transfer fee of £10million last month and was immediately sent back to the Ligue 1 club on loan for the 2014/15 season.
