Surely you don't play like that every week. Admittedly aided by us being completely rubbish, but that was great to watch, I just wish I was neutral.

Hope you stay up there. Even after 2 games, the top and bottom is beginning to (sadly for us at least) take shape.

Stewards were great too. It makes such a difference being told to ''enjoy the game''. Although I think they knew what was coming.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

We used to play like that but for the last couple of seasons we've been struggling to remember what it feels like. Personally i hope that has awoken it.

Can't believe there was talk of Harry leaving. Not a great start but you don't dump a manager like Redknapp if you are QPR and trying to survive the prem

Hopefully Arry and Hoddle will put pragma over dogma now.
The summer pre-season and cup games against lower league opponents are the
time and place to work out stuff like the 3-5-2 formation, not when you are just
promoted to the PL and want to avoid becoming relegation fodder.

Yeah, as much as you guys were poor and there were a couple of particularly bad bits of defending for the goals, I do feel like we made you guys look worse by playing so well. I guess we'll find out over the coming season if it was down to you guys passing poorly or us relentlessly shutting you down high up the pitch.

Anyway, good luck with the rest of the season, I really hope Redknapp and Hoddle can get the system working for you but I can't help but think that you might be better off using 3 at the back more sparingly, particularly as you haven't got the fastest centre backs. Also hoping Harry can work his magic on Caulker too, with the England squad looking to be overhauled over the coming season this could be a great chance for him to establish himself at the heart of it.

    My wife's comment:

"It's weird to see them playing together."

Good luck, Stan. I'll be pulling for QPR to stay up.

  7. We're going to give plenty of teams a hiding, this season.

Can't wait to play 'Pool next week, for example.

Cheers Stan, gotta admit it was great seeing us play the way we did. Ironically, it was reminiscent of our football under Harry, hopefully it continues.

All the best to you guys, <ok>

What wound me up a bit, although one of the pundits (i think Les), did give us some credit, was that we scored a 48 pass goal. Twice as many passes as any goal from any team last season and the main reason we did so was QPR were a bit ****.
    Do me a favour.

  10. We made them look ****e.

QPR will do a lot better against the likes of 'Pool and Arsenal.

I liked the way that the pundits basically admitted that they'd be raving about it if someone else had scored it, but were more interested in criticising the defending because it was us.
    Utterly bizarre.

Yeah, there was also a comment about how they'd be gushing if Messi had done the same thing as Lamela, but as it wasn't Messi we'll just say "meh"

I wouldn't shout too loudly about the QPR performance because some pundit said we should have scored more and I agreed the same day that 4 was too low. If Burton beat them then we should have put 6 past them.

The team we played was very different to the one put out against Burton. On paper it was a decent team (Wright-Phillips, Hoilet etc) and should have won, but still a second team.

Being a Spurs fan has made me manic depressive. There's no fun in that if you don't enjoy every second of the manic bits.

I predict we'll still be in first in the PL at the end of the day.
