Yeah people keep talking about Lenihan likes he's going to be a major signing, but he'll be plonked in the reserves alongside Jarred Bowen and Karim Rossi, I don't think he'll be a first teamer just yet. I wouldn't have thought he'd be who Brucey was talking about.
I hope we have at least another striker lined up - Hooper will do, at least he has played in the PL. You are asking a lot of a player to get used to a different country, culture and style of play. Particularly when we have thrown most of our striker budget at one player. This player could be the next Osvaldo or Wolfswinkel, or he could be the next Suarez - either way it's a big risk.

Seriously? If only he'd shone at the recent staging of the planet's biggest sporting event and since been chased by all the enormo-clubs in the world....
He was definitely at the ground and said he was having a medical, so I definitely looks like he's on board.
I'm starting to think more and more that SB is here for the long term. He is putting plans in place for our short/medium/long term future. He is without doubt the best manager we have ever had.
So Lenihan and Hernandez both had medicals yesterday? Is Lenihan high profile enough to be unveiled next to Hernandez or is he just going to get a paragraph at the bottom of an article.
I'm sure Lenihan will get a decent bit of press on his signing, he looks a hot prospect, but I do expect he'll be presented as one for the future.
The comments are amusing in this article from the Lancashire Telegraph http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/11437353._/?action=success#comments
So, that’s Blackburn and Sheff Utd now who are apparently going to be above us next season. When I first started watching football, Blackburn were just a run of the mill second tier club – just like they are now. All that changed was that they bought the title and were lucky with the timing of it too. Bought it at the time when Liverpool declined and United hadn’t quite got their grip on English football. Now they’re back to being mediocre, not particularly well supported, with nothing to suggest they’ll return to the top flight. Transfer wise, they’re more likely to need us before we need them, it’d be interesting to see what future dealing is like.

One defensive minded midfielder away from a great team. Can't believe you're leaving out Ince. He's looked great so far and been a real spark plug Who would you leave out to fit Ince in. At the moment Quinn is one of our best performers and he has to start.
