Queens - see other thread. Harry reckons Adel was the only one who showed promise!

Cup Bussiness as normal then mate <ok>

didnt bother listening as i honestly dont care about the cups. I just want him to get it riht in the league.

i know others feel difrently, but to me, this is just an unwelcome distraction from what w need o achieve.

All i want is 17th for the next 2 years then kick on and hit mid table. I want Hoddle to get us playing good football and have the occaisional win against a top 5 side.
Once we are established then start looking for cups etc.
i still believe Harry (& Co) will get it right in time. May not be pretty this season but staying up is a must.
I doubted him last year and he proved me wrong ( albeit by luck) but he's earnd the chance to have a decent go & TBH, i cant think of anyone else I'd really like to see take over right now...except maybe Hoddle.

Pullis? The BBC commentators couldn't see Hoddle at the game tonight, maybe he don't like Cups either.

You trying to tell me Hoddle has never had his tea leaves read? I'd have him nailed on for that one. Maybe it's only metal cups he doesn't like. :smiley-finger007:

OK, my sister is content now, but there's no info about your goalscorers on Google - it says "no results found".

I apologise for going off on a tangent and raking over old coals, but for the record I don't believe that promotion last season was down to luck. If it's not a contradiction I'd say Derby had every right to feel they were the better team on the day, but our goalkeeper was fantastic, our back four were fantastic and after going down to ten men the tactics and approach was spot on. If you score more goals than your opponents you win the game; that wasn't luck: it was grit, concentration and resolve.

If Redknapp sells Taarabt after this then I will find it hard to follow my team for some time. He is the bloody answer and still can be one of the stars of this league no doubt at all

It seems very unlikely to me that anyone will come for him. Let's hope he and Harry can kiss and make up and get the man playing good football again.

This is an interesting insight from someone who regularly watches League 2 football; having read it I actually feel a bit better about last night. We didn't do our homework.

If you look at the results from the cup this week. It would appear there is much merit in greenhousemeddowman's point of view.

I 'd love to think so, but still think Milan will be back for him, now they should have cash coming in for Balotelli. Club Call quote Arry:

    """"""""""""""""""""
Taarabt can go for right money - Redknapp
Queens Park Rangers, Latest news update: August 28, 2014 12:07 PM

Harry Redknapp says he expects Adel Taarabt to stay at QPR unless anyone meets his buyout clause thought to be around £5.5m.

The Morocco international made his first QPR appearance in 16 months in the shock Capital One Cup defeat at Burton on Wednesday, but his R's future remains uncertain.
Redknapp has expressed his frustration at the inconsistent star in the past and he was sent out on loan to AC Milan last season.
He has been linked with a permanent return to the San Siro but the Serie A giants seem unwilling to pay the required fee and Redknapp, who is well aware of Taarabt's talents, says he will stay unless the buyout clause is met.
"I don't know what Taarabt will do," said Redknapp. "He has a buyout clause in his contract. You saw his ability tonight. When he wants to play he is a fantastic talent.
"Unless someone pays the buyout clause that he has he will stay, I think. That is where the club is at. He can do things other people can't do. He can open a team up."

    """""""""""""""""

First I heard that Adel has a buy out clause - surely a very old one now, or is Arry making this up too?
