Well you are very very predictable. Another TF attack, shock and horror.

And look who comes crawling out of the woodwork. Another very predictable post.

It's still early days , but the signs at the moment are not good. Being critical of the players in public is when the pressure is beginning to tell (even if it is deserved) , I honestly think this weekend is the most important of the season. A win and the minds are positive , another defeat and Saturday night TF will have a Big decision to make , a draw and we are we're we are now, which it's not good. It's clear Hoddle is here to take over , I think that might be as early as Saturday night , and a number two could be our dear Clint Hill . This is NOT an anti Harry thread but just some realism

Would like you to do one - not the first time you've gone for me.
Ah yes now I remember the delights of Croydon - I should have compassion. Apologise.

While this may be fact, it is taken slightly out of context.

Ahh, there is some common sense amongst the masses of the anti Harry, knee jerk brigade.

Redknapp's just been given or offered a contract extension, hasn't he? Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty pissed off with the results to date and cannot excuse last night's humiliation one iota. So please don't confuse my challenging the assertion that Redknapp doesn't want to be here and isn't motivated to bring success with 100% undying support for the man. At the moment it is still early days and I still believe that the club has made decent signings that now owe it to the fans and manager to produce. I also believe that Redknapp is paid fantastic money to get this right and has to earn his corn or he's out.

We gave Hughes a lot of time and there can't be anybody out there that didn't believe that he wanted to bring success to the club, can there? This is the same in that respect, but whether it's similar with regards to the outcome remains to be seen. I'm willing to wait and see a little longer.

If I'm honest, and there are probably many like me, I am betwixt and between the views put forward.
I have always struggled with some of the things said, and the body language shown, by Harry. It was some time before he used the word 'we' to talk about the club and the team - but it came. But I struggled to see his passion for the set-up and that translates to the team, as the leader.

However, when it comes to discussing 'does he care.'. Well, he is up early every day, travels 2hrs there and back. He has tried different ideas (McLaren, Hoddle, Black) to turn things around. I believe he wants success for the club, board and for himself. But it has been a very toxic club for a number of years (painful though it is to say). It would be the easiest thing in the world for Harry to pack it in and ride on the punditry pathways - but he hasn't and there is a 'light' that says he will get it right. He is building his team finally and he is having a bumpy road, but I feel he will turn it around this season.

In the end you will all see exactly what a fool Redknapp is ... Respect to those who already knew I think there were 6 of us . He is already far worse than Hughes IMO but he is our manager so we should just get behind him and the team and stop acting like spoilt kids when we lose
    Expect a lot more excuses
Plus guess what TF nice bloke never a winner IMO

Zzzzzz. Is that the best you can do. Yet another easy shot at Croydon. It enables me to get to all the home games though.

I'm also with Uber but this is a sensible post for the alternative view. Tony should think it, even if only to dismiss it for his beloved stability.

The omens are not great whichever way you cut it. Confused systems players coaching staff and fans. The facts are we have played 3 competitive games so far lost all three, scored zero goals and conceded six. V poor start thus far.

Almost a must win game this weekend sadly

Sorry too simplistic, you've chosen to interpret your way that I'm saying Redknapp doesn't want success. I'm telling you with what he has become with age and with his history, he is tired and cant deliver.
And if our Tone even begins to think that this man is the future leader of our club for the next 3 seasons that he's Dumber than I took him for in a sporting sense. You keep saying we'd be ok with a festering corpse if we were doing well - A festering corpse would not be able to get us results and play well - and guess what - have a look at the dug out and see how your own analogy hits you with the irony of realism.

Fully agree apart from one thing - He's a winner in the Business he has built - Admittedly he's had some seriously fair winds, but nevertheless he's managed to get Air Asia right up there as a player.
Do you realize though, that he is in a part of the World able to pay absolutely peanuts (legal, and decent enough in that part of the World) to his staff and yet compete with Major airlines constrained in many cases by old Western union set ups, benefits, holidays, etc.

But I'm denigrating him now, he's done a fine job there and used his investor's money wisely and well.

What's your problem, it's a debate on football and you want to start? Why? What is it? Internet jealousy? Are you bored?
And I'm right it's not the first time - You want banter you'll get it. We always had a load of cants at every home match when I was able to attend every match as well.

The fact of the matter is this. Redknapp now has no excuses. This is his team, the player and staff turnover is ridiculous, none of us can name what starting eleven he will be picking day in day out and to decide to try a new footballing philosophy at this stage of his career with a newly promoted team is tantamount to negligence. Newly promoted teams need stability and a foundation of grit and determination. None of which we have. We all want him to do well, because that means the club are doing well but the very fact that his tenure is dividing our fans so much, has to be a worry.

Let's just get that first win on Saturday, which I am sure we will and just hope we are not faced with a stick or twist decision for TF after 6 games as we know that this could become 12 games then 20 games very easily and we don't have that time.

Trusting our future in Harry is scary, but we've got to forget about him and get behind the players, the last thing we want is a toxic atmosphere at Loftus Road, we need it to be like Wigan in the Playoff Semi on Saturday and will the boys to get the result we know we can get!

While I accept it's not always possible to name the same 11, injuries and suspensions will always have an impact, I do think we should be able to pick 8/9 of that starting 11. There's no chance of that at the moment. If Harry had just come in, I'd understand it cos he'd be looking at people but he's been here long enough now.

I dont care whether he wants to be here or not................its time to go and not a kneejerk reaction as Ive never liked him and his third party (never my fault) reactions, hes unfortunately past it and FFS take dumb and dumber with you.

THE GOOD NEWS.... IMO we have a good squad now so dull, passionless, unimaginative losses will surely move him to the exit?!...............

Like I said, I'm as unhappy with the results as the next ardent QPR fan. But I'm not going to slag off the manager or the chairman/owner yet. The manager has bought well (so far; one or two more would be useful) and the chairman has put his money where his mouth is. It has now got to work. It is three games. Three games! I'm willing to wait until the end of October/early November before considering change. Your opinion differs, which is fine.

DT: You were admirably the last defender of Hughes' QPR tenure, supporting him in the face of fierce criticism on the board. Such a shame that your personal dislike of Redknapp prevents you from offering the same 'slack' at this stage of the season.

I take all your points except one - Three games?
We've played poorly throughout Redknapp's tenure with us.
    Premiership - 4 wins out of 27
CC - An absolutely terrible league where we struggled to score and although fantastic, extremely fortunate to go up as we did.

Granted the end result of CC was mission accomplished - although I have to take the manner in which it was accomplished in to play.
Our time with him in the Prem - We've been dog poo. Can only think of the Southampton away game and first half against Villa where we played exciting football, our results against City, Spurs (home 0-0 draws) and Chelsea the year we went down were admirable results of what can be done with motivation and a plan. I honestly cant think of any other games other than those can you?

The initial OP was suggesting this reeks of previous debacles we have had - 2 of them we were lucky to get out of quick fast - this one is very dangerous as Fernandes is no Briatore and would rather wait it out.

Do any of you think that Fernandes might just be a little bit starstruck by this all?
