Well we all know how Monk treated the last cup game we played against Everton so I don't hold out much hope for us progressing.
5th round of the FA CUP compared to this early League cup game .. different circumstances to say the least ..probably put out the entire first team for this next League Cup game.

Yeah I noticed that, very unusual but good if you're one of the Prem sides that get through I think Monk will take this more seriously than Everton with their fixtures (thanks Aswan). Whether that is serious enough remains to be seen though. Would be great to beat them at last.
If we get past Everton we'll be 1 of only 5/6 Prem teams left in the competition. A great opportunity if you ask me and we should really go for this competition now.
