Signs 12 players then plays last years crap, Totally agree, surely tonight gave the opertunity to play some of the new sighnings & fringe players in a competitive match, they surely would have not been worse than this lot that played tonight.
In fairness it wasn't a miss, he took a touch and it was too heavy, Smiths header at the end was a real miss, he only had to header it downwards
Were all wondering the same. One positive I was taking from this season was with all the new signings I wouldn't have to watch last seasons **** anymore. I was wrong
We lack pace yet Ajose and Poleon dont get a start... i am trying to get into Hock's head.. see the logic behind the starting 11
I believe Cellino was'nt bothered about the Capital 1 Cup and wanted to stoke interest in Tongue, Norris & Murphy, and didn't want to take them off in case younger players changed the dynamic and made them look bad.
Well if they were in the shop window, you better knock another 50% off their prices - they were awful and a League 1 reserve side completely outplayed them
For a team down to 10 men after 30 minutes I didn't think we played that bad. Subs should've been made a lot earlier though, but overall, especially in the second half, I thought we showed enough fighting spirit and quality for the new incoming coach to work with
We allowed Tom Lee's to go for free, Kenny we released as well as plenty of others, for the peanuts we would get for them it would be a pointless exercise. I am starting to believe he wants to be sacked and get a pay off, we had half a squad or future talent on the bench, players who need match fitness like Benedicic and they don't start.
Yes and 11 v 11 we were the better side. Evened itself out after the sending off, and lifted the home crowd. I'm not saying we were brilliant by any stretch, but I do think we showed some battling qualities
