With the introductions of the vanishing spray and goalline technology, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how we could further improve the game?
What little things need adjusting and what could we do with booting out entirely?
Is a red card for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity well balanced at the moment?
Is a yellow card sufficient for diving?
I've recently been thinking that it might be an idea to prevent attacking players from entering into the six-yard box on corners until they've been taken.
Sounds a bit mental and probably gives somewhat of an advantage to the defending team, but correctly enforcing some of the rugby tackles that are going on at the moment would redress that.
I'm getting pretty sick of watching people simply standing on the goalkeeper and having to rely on some frankly inconsistent refereeing to decide whether a goal stands.
I'm sure that some of you can come up with better suggestions, though.
