Fantastic news for us, that you lost again last night. It means you haven't won so far this season- and with your coming fixtures that trend is set to continue. The more dispirited your teams are the better chance we stand of staying up. Losing games is a habit- as is not scoring goals. I was delighted to see you draw a blank yet again. You only scored 60 goals last season, and can't score against Burton. That doesn't translate very well into a 38 game PL
If I was in your shoes, I'd be thinking that. Some on here have said the same about Palace. (I haven't said it but I have thought it.) One thing I do think, is that of all the teams that will down there fighting, IMO we have the better defence than most. (before you cite The Tottenham result, They could do that you your lot just as easily. That's the gulf in class between the top 7 teams and the rest of the league.) I know you need goals to win games but you need less of them if your not letting them in. We have an international striker awaiting clearance and with some better thought put in by our coaching staff. (One of which has only just arrived.) We might just get our act together. It's all hypothetical right now but I'm sure you can see my point even if you don't agree.
