3.40 Catterick Little Shambles @ 2/1 Was upped to a rating of 86 after running a cracking race at York last week, runs here off 83. Also has multiple entries this week so wouldn't surprise me if they fired in a quick double with this horse this week
Some very decent horses set to go under the old hammer next week at DBS’s ‘Horses in Training Sale’. The likes of Venue, Kool Kompany and Sennockian Star to mention but 3. I would imagine that the ‘jumping boys’ will go mad for the last one mentioned.
A decent London Mile Qualifier tonight in which we will see a Haggis/Moore hotpot bidding to repeat his run on return from a layoff. If he bounces, the race could be wide open, and others in here have good form in the series including Silverheels (good second on penultimate start) and Musaddas of Godolphin, who ran very well last time out when travelling wide at this course. The good thing about this race is that it should be run at a fair enough gallop with the Balding horse Zampa Manos likely to front run again, whilst Bravo Echo likes to get on with things too. However it is Monsieur Chavalier that really interests me, he has been running well in defeat recently, and his run last time out behind Tenor looks pretty good, with that horse running very well in Listed and then higher handicap mark races since. He needs a strong pace to run against and I think we might see him doing some very good work late, with luck in running I think he is overpriced at 12/1
Rare foray into the midweek punting jungle for me. AP has a serious chance of riding several winners at Worcester this evening and I've stuck the shortest 4 into a four-fold. Can safely say that's my first of my life! Pays out 7.88/1. 4.35 It is what it is 5.35 Borus Brook 6.05 Street Entertainer 7.05 In the Rough A proper mug's bet no doubt
Forte, Prowess's 4th foal, runs today and this full-sister to Talent is apparently a chip of the old block. The three previous foals all ran well (2nd or 3rd) but didn't win on their debuts, and all of them won on their second outing. Unlike previous foals Forte has been entered for big 2yo races (in her case the Fillies Mile). This is not an easy opener for this filly but I'd be surprised if she doesn't run a good race and at least get a place. Her target is to be a middle-distance filly next year but I think she's worth E-W interest if you can get 13-2.
Good one, cityhull! 19:55 Kempton - Musaddas (This looks a very open affair and many are in with a chance. Selection is very consistent and worth a small play).
I don't need luck Swanny. I have picked a horse who never wins and always seems to have the words "ran on, never nearer" in the formbook. What could possibly go wrong.
Shout Fusion managed to get 7s before the off did rev fc with mine but that was beaten out of sight, you're having a bit of a purple patch at the moment keep em coming
