Celtic have been fighting for many years with the best teams in Europe and it is stupid that the Scottish coefficient is not regarded as good enough. It should be more about the clubs. We need the biggest clubs in the Champions League, who have deserved it of course." In August a downtrodden Ronny Deila sadly stated: "At the end, there is only one thing to say, we haven't been good enough and we haven't deserved to go to the Champions League. There is no excuse. We are not good enough. Now it is the Europa League and we will do everything we can to achieve things in that competition. That is our level now. We didn't lose because of the defending, we lost because we didn't create anything." Maybe Ronny is still being upbeat - "Europa League..........that is our level now" A month is a long time in football - I wonder what Ronny will be saying in September?
I think the MLS is more their level personally. In fact I think teams like Seattle would kick the **** out of Celtic.
Well to be fair he's not deluded now, he's right. It's just taken him 2 months to see how **** Scottish football is.
