He would be perfect for Manu, as they have no one as disciplined and creative as Joe at the moment, but will Rodgers let him go? though he's not exactly getting much game time at Liverpool so if I was him I would make the move, if this is true!................
I was hoping he'd have a bad season so we can buy him on the cheap next year but he was their best midfielder against Man City Monday night.
I agree mate. I dont think he gets the game time he should at Liverpool.But, I think Joe is a class act. Would love to see him back in a white shirt,

A neat and tidy player but no more than that imo. £20M sounds about right for Man U. There are better players out there that cost a lot less. Siggy for example. Did play well the other night but that's one of only a handful of games he's had. Lots of rose tinted glasses here. Before you all wade into me, yes I know I'm in a minority.
Siggy and Allen are not a good comparison. They play different roles in modfield. In our recent setup, Allen v Shelvey is a better comparison for that CM role and Allen gets my vote there.
Ki Allen Gylfi Would give a nice balance to our midfield. Can't compare Gylfi and Allen Dragon as their different players.
Done very well for liverpool so it's no surprise that big teams will see him as the right player for them. United could do with a player or three of his caliber. Joe has exceeded all expectations at liverpool and whether Brendan will let him go is another thing...
He hasn't done very well for Liverpool though - apart from that one game the other night. Couldn't even make the team most of last season could he? Ask yourself two questions - Can anyone think of one game he's won for Liverpool? Nope. Can anyone think of a game when you've watched him and gone 'Wow - now that was a performance' ? I haven't. Solid performances once or twice but that's it. You want to make a comparisone with Shelvey? Fine. I accept Shelvey isn't as consistent as we'd like but I can ansewer 'yes' to both of those questions when I think of him. Look, I accept nobody agrees with me and that's fine. Allen is a decent player and is certainly up to this level but £20M? The world's gone mad.
