I've also heard Alex lives in Manchester and his wife is due to give birth, so wouldn't be adverse to joining a team in the North-West.
If the Man U score stays the same there might be a few offered as loans! 1 nil down to the mk. Please please don't spend all that dosh on Rhodes SB?
One game doesn't make a player. He played well in that game and he wasn't terrible in the FA Cup final, but let's face it, he's probably the least talented CB we have. If one CB was to leave it'll be him.
Pretty certain she lives in North Ferriby as i see her in Swanland most weekends, so either that or she does a lot of travelling every weekend whilst pregnant.
I don't particularly rate Bruce as a centre back but I think he's the closest to an Ashbee that we have. He was amazing in the championship at breaking up play and playing the short ball to midfield. We haven't done that in the prem but I'd like to see him play that position against some of the top attacking teams or away from home now and again. Arguably the only other player that could fill that role is Chester but he should be at the back for me. Wouldn't be too fussed if Bruce paved the way for Rhodes though... or any other good striker.
Think you are right as I have seen Steve pushing a pram down tranby lane, I assumed he was looking after the grandchildren.
you're joking , right - Bruce was 5th choice in the championship behind Chester, Hobbs, Macca and Faye - he was crap - he should have been ditched but daddy sold Hobbs and brought in Davies - we only won two Prem games all season with Bruce starting - good example was Fulham away when we were 2 0 down, Bruce off and we draw 2 2 - same as QPR this season, he's off at half time, 5 minutes later we're winning - hopefully he's shipped off - i bet you not a single Prem team will even ask if he's available - the stats showed last season that he was the worst defender in the Prem - we won all our cup games ast season without Bruce, the first game he was picked was the final and we lost - its an utter disgrace that hes picked - look how well we played against Stoke without him - and long may it continue - thankfully we've brought Dawson in so I hope it puts an end to him being picked - no wonder people like Faye and others got pissed because he was picked
Nah you assumed wrong... it was either... Abduction Community Service A Pram Full Of Bacon An Expensive Zimmerframe Steves Evil Brother 'Bruce' A Mirage Two Old Ladies A Test Drive He Was Way Behind In A Fun Run You'd Taken Copius Amounts Of Pills He Was Taking His Transformer For A Walk
Agreed. Not only that, but I still think the FA Cup Final goes to penalties if Bruce stays in the game.
I think that's a bit harsh but I do agree he was probably fifth choice. Sorry I should have clarified. I prefer him to sit in front of the defence. Mistakes aren't as costly there. Only problem is you'd have to drop Hudds or Livermore... but for those games where we'll just get overrun or if our midfield are having a bad day, I think he's good to come on and sit in front of the defence halting balls through the middle. We've nicked a few scrappy one nil away wins by doing that before. Depends how useful you think that sort of tactic is considering we're now aspiring to be better than a few of the teams around us.
The one to go will be Bruce Jnr but only on loan with a recall clause & possibly to the white ****e who have already expressed an interest in signing him
Alex had some brilliant games for us last season (Liverpool/Suarez and the FA Cup Final) but he's probably the least talented of our CHs and the obvious choice to let go...hopefully on loan unless part of a deal for a striker.
