It's what I find about half members on here. No wonder few have disappeared! I believe in seeing what happens. Not what people say to quell the masses
Totally agree, clubs are always saying players arent leaving, then someone comes in with an "offer that is too good to refuse" and the player is gone.
Think the board have laid too much on keeping Morgan and Ron has said the size of the offer will have no effect. Morgan is going nowhere this window...my guess would be next summer after we have benefitted from his experience this season.
He said it in numerous interviews with national media, very confidently though. Difference between glossing over the question in a press conference and stamping your foot down multiple times publicly.
It is similar to the chairman who backs his manager and said manager goes weeks later. Foot stamping could be classed as one doth protest too much
Fonte says he is glad that Morgan has decided to stay...I accept he won't be privy to everything, but he obviously thinks MS is staying. Guly in his recent interview said Morgan is happy to stay for the moment. Ron and Ralph said he's staying...in fact, they went out on a limb when faced with a rebellious player. Do you know what...he's staying.

Doesn't make it any less true because you want to believe the board which is your right. There are others who do not swallow what the board say because football clubs say things all the time and then do massive U-turns
I don't believe the board all the time because sometimes things change, but I do believe we are keeping Morgan as they have gone beyond weasel words and are into written in blood on the wall.
I don't believe the board 100%, but I do over Morgan. They have backed themselves into a massive corner and if he leaves then Ralf has to leave, Reed will probably have to go as well. With that I can not see Morgan going.
I even wonder if Ron insisted on Morgan staying...after all he'd watched a lot of players leave. May have been his breaking point.
If he'd to go then these guys would have some excuse for why he did. Either he was not happy or too much money too turn down. I'm not saying "oh he is going" i'm saying i personally am not convinced he is staying. Think there well could be a final twist in saga. Or maybe not and he has been convinced, threatened etc into staying
