im a big fan of dawson . but he will be 1st choice centre half with all the cover we have . i have a gut feeling davies or chester maybe going hope im wrong but worried i wont be
Chester or Davies won't be going anywhere, we play with 3 CBs usually so we need at least 3 top CBs which we now have. I'd expect either Bruce to move on or Maguire to be loaned for the season. Maybe Figgy if he's classed as a CB
i agree bruce. but think one of the big 2 will go to balance the money going out after we allso sign a striker
If any of them get sold I'd expect it to be one of Bruce, McShane or Figueroa. As McShane seems to be great for squad spirit (pretty much every video you see of them having fun includes him) I'd prefer it to be one of the other two. Figueroa can then cover the left side as well so it makes Bruce the prime candidate, and eliminates any remaining claims people can make of nepotism. Or Maguire out on loan to the Championship.
Anyone who suggests Bruce Jnr gets picked because his dad's the manager is an arse. Did anyone else do as good a job on Suarez last season as he did? I think not. Plenty of other games over the past couple of years he's been well worth his selection. He's never going to set the world alight, but, he's more than earned his inclusion in our squad.
To go against the majority ill say it should be Mcshane, not sure why he's rated by most over Bruce.....anyway ill put my tin hat on now
Bruce has already categorically denied that anybody will be leaving before the end of the window, so unless we receive a ridiculous offer I can't see anyone leaving. I wouldn't be surprised if we sent Maguire out on loan though given that his game time will be limited this season.
We don't have to get rid of anybody. We should see how the season pans out. Look at how Quinn was talked about leaving and now he's practically first on the team sheet.
theres plenty of room for them all at the club, Chezzer can play in DM if needed and i hope he can improve those skills too . another thing i like is how our natural XI can adapt to a few formations without much agg'
He's just been offered to Blackburn as part of the Rhodes deal, so I don't think his dad has any issue with moving him on.
Sorry I'm late to this, but why in the name of God would we let Chezzy or Davies go? If anyone leaves it'll be Bruce Jr.
HM will only leave on loan back the the blunts if we get binned out the cup. If not we keep them all as cover. Unless something is needed in the striker bargain and then it's maybe needs must and I think we may just have to loose what they want out of MF, AB, and maybe even PM but reluctantly.
