That's quite amusing. Bit of a gamble going with Peppa Pig as the theme though.

5 years time Peppa Pig won't be in-style anymore and it'll be some other new kids show in vogue. They'll have an expensive re-theming of the theme park to do, or have a lower appeal theme park.

I would totally go there to eat a sausage bap though!

  2. Unfortunately not the one in Windsor, I'm in scumland (Manchester)

Would have cost more to go Windsor. 100 miles more traveling and tickets were £160 (compared to £55) for 2+2 too <yikes>

Yes, we appreciate being ripped of down south!
Plus, you'd have been dangerously close to where I work, I may have had to come over and buy you a drink!
Hope you all enjoyed the day!

    old age jb :bandit:

only messing, its a relatively new thing last 10 yrs or so, your kids are all grown up aren't they any way?, should imagine if you have grand children or great grand children <whistle> and mention it they will know what you are talking about, although your kids may not appreciate that as its not really cheap, well family ticket of 4 costs upwards of £100 ffs lol and that's just for a ruddy day trip.

I don't know how old people think I am but yeah if my kids were young like yours I'd no doubt be sitting watching that and colouring in books, and buying the toys .... <ok>

Got a grandson now so will soon find out all the latest in kids tv etc.

i just assumed you was somewhere between 50-60 ish lol.

wasn't an insult mate, just i assumed you had missed all the bullshit hype we get with things now days regarding kids stuff, being a parent now days is not cheap.

you may get lucky having a grandson as its more likely ben10, teenage mutant ninja turtles etc, peppa pig is more for girls, although not explicit obviously.

although one day you may be going to mini manc land (legoland) yourself :bandit: <laugh>

Gerrard provided some nice passes to the forward line, something/somewhere Hendo and Allen are still reluctant to do/go. Defensively, they get low marks. All three managed to allow toure, Fernando and nasri to pass it amongst them all night. I perceived City as able to impose their game almost at will.

Look I tell you what.... Spoil the little guy Royston I say. It's now your job to win you children by spoiling the grand kids

But..... I quite find that three things are important

    1. Do not waste money on Disney trash. The same now goes for Lego. It's all brand and no trousers and there better value fun to be had

    2. Do not buy leap pads or innotabs if the kid gets to it but a real tablet in a good casing and load up apps. It's amazing the quality of learning they can do

    3. Do above all buy crayola and lots of paints and markers that are washable cos they are actually cheap as hell

Overall I found to my amazement if they know no better books on the shelf are brilliant... They do love a story and it might just stick. I was amazed at that with all the stupid tv

Thank f blarney is no longer on

Mine have obsessed over on or another tv show for months now. It's now Dora the racist explorer who never meets anyone who's not Spanish looking

You could saddle them with debt then all move to Australia and tell said Tories to swivel for it

Better yet I hear our European cousins will pay for students to come to their unis due to numbers attending there

Imagine 3/4 years "learning" in Spain for instance

I dunno I try to save and I am putting a little aside every month for uni fund but it looks like i might manage 1 not 2 in the next 15 years.... Unless I can rob a bank

£250 for a pushchair - but it does everything apparently, bar make the tea <laugh>

We couldn't afford to pay uni fees for ours, we paid the accommodation and food the rest is on student loans which are being paid off by each of them now, one did 4 year degree, the other 5 year degree, so it's into 5 figures .

Oh god I made that error, insisted in fact and ended up buying a one out of lidl which was much easier

I think ok.... This is basically a right you want the uni degree then make it count. Ok it's 5 figures but you lad is a surgeon yes? He's made it count

Only toffs should do arts degrees.

I guess it's like owning land or whatever you have to make it work for you so the loans should be an incentive to get out and achieve

    One would hope anyway
