Doesn't pick up on my spell checker mate but neither does colour, honour and rumour - all without the 'u'.
I wonder how much Dawson is going to cost us in 3 years time when he demands some sort of testimonial payoff?
He'll have no worries on the pace front....Chester and Davies can shift and can cover him in the back 3 we play.
According to this guy on twitter: Originallambrettaman ‏@origlambman 3m Michael Dawson is currently at the KC. #TransferWatch #hcafc
Feel a bit for Dawson, being overshadowed by the Rhodes situation, when in fact Dawson could be a crucial signing for us and yet another masterstroke by SB.
If we sign Dawson which is looking likely now, I'd offer Maguire to Blackburn on loan for the season as a sweetener for the Rhodes deal.
Indeed SB has done his job again in the market. Paid a bit over the odds but that what happens when you buy British. Snodgrass, Ince, Dawson, Robertson, Maguire and Livermore so far has improved us and it's clear Bruce hasn't finished yet.
ˆˆˆˆThat's not a bad idea at allˆˆˆˆ But who would people prefer to loose? I'm guessing Bruce over a potential star and certainly Figgy over maguire
I wouldn't be surprised to see Bruce and Figueroa being part of the deal that brings Rhodes to the KC. From what I saw on Saturday they certainly need to add to their defence if they're hoping to get out of the Championship. Would also probably suit Fig having been at Wigan for such a long spell prior to joining us.
Really good business again, IMO guys. "Spurs or Sex" has pretty much summed Daws up in his post earlier on. He'll have an extremely positive impact on the dressing room, training field, and around the club in general. Daws may lack pace, and was clearly surplus to requirements at Spurs, but he's gonna leave a very empty leadership/role model gap that needs filling our end. You've not only got yourselves a solid player, but also someone with European experience, which could come in very handy this season. Best of luck
