Liverpool fans are good fans, just because this twat is a ****ing frustrated virgin doenst make all Liverpool fans bad. In what way was he having a go I havnt heard it? Who gives a toss about the Liverpool fans. They paid almost 20 mil for Henderson so Whickham's a steal. And stealing is something scousers know a lot about.
The problem with Liverpool and their fans (of which the aforementioned bin scrounging radio presenter is one) is that their candle burned out over 15 years ago only they just can’t admit it. They had a brief thrust of glory under Benitez and that fantastic European Cup but it was merely a blip. Man Utd are the kings of English football now and it eats away at the Scousers. They love to belittle everyone else and yet they are now no bigger than most of the league. If they truly believe that buying Andy Carroll and Henderson for 56m is going to rejuvenate their fortunes they are again sadly mistaken. Suarez is a fantastic footballer but he won’t get them Champions League football on his own. I no longer fear Liverpool as a club, when once they rules supreme. Jamie Carragher is 2 seasons past his best and Gerrard very injury prone these days and yet they are still 2 of the best players at the Anfield club. I look forward to playing them next season but whereas I will be happy with any points from Man Utd, I'll be gutted if we don’t get at least 2 points against Liverpool. That’s the difference. If Liverpool had signed Wickham, you can bet every Scousers including fat Mick would be eulogizing wildly about him. As they haven’t, they will try and play it all down.
You see folks, youve got to live among the scousers to understand the scousers. Having lived down here for over 20 years now and being married to a scouse lass who comes from a Kopite family, i can tell you now as far as Liverpool suppporters are concerned, that theyre living on past glorys and trust me theyre some of the most shallow and impatient football supporters you could ever wish to meet. Infact I laughed last week when that Kopite came on here stating that they were patient and would give young Henderson a chance...trust me they fookin wont ! Heres a wee tale to illustrate what I mean......Couple of years back I was on duty working the Liverpool v Havent and Waterlooville FA Cup tie. Prior to the game all the supporters were applauding the non leagueres and giving them that so called warm welcome...this continued even when Havent took the lead, of course Lucas got the equaliser, then the strangest bloody thing happened (and some of you may remember this) Havent scored again taking a 2-1 lead...well bugger me ! all hell let loose on the kop and all of a sudden we saw the real Liverpool supporters.....effing and jeffing at the opposition and in fighting on the corner of the KOP and main stand...point im trying to make is this..they attempt to project this image of being an appreciative crowd but trust me they lack patience, humility and appreciation...god help young Henderson if he dosent hit the ground runnin...
It’s a total fallacy that Scouse fans are these wonderful fluffy happy go lucky supporters that kiss and cuddle one and all. They are as vicious and menacing as the next ones and have shown recently with players and managers that they don’t have patience. They have the biggest of chips on their shoulders due to the fact Man Utd are the biggest club in the world and are now the most successful ever top flight football club in English football history. Thing is, I love Anfield as an away ground, with all the history and memories but their fans get right on my frigid nerves.
Used to agree - but went the season before last to the midweek game and it was like a library - we lost 2-0 and their fans made no noise - sadly (at 33 at the time) it was my first ever visit and I had hoped for the anfield roar but there were no "hair on the back of the neck" moments and this put me off. Must admit i was dissappointed in my visit to Anfield a few years ago and also surprised at how quiet they were. They are still in a time warp and think they are still greeeeat. A few fans i talked to were ok but i was also there last year and a cheeky young twat charged me £10 yeah ****ing £10 to park in a school play ground saying someone was in for a drubbing and it was us who were going to get it lol Well we know how that turned out and the little twat was no where to be seen when i got back to the car. Mikey Quinn what the **** does he know i think scousers are as deluded as the mags in the fact they think they are big and deserve to be Top 4. Success has to be earned and worked for we have a owner and a chairman that is working for that success Newcastle have a chairman they can't stand and Liverpool had to force theres out through the courts. Remeber this That is why we love our club and have a Chairman that also loves the club Would love to see the fans back next year with at least an average 45,000
A few years ago now, myself and some of my mates were at Thirsk or York races. I was away getting the beers and on my return found the four of them laughing their heads off! It seems Quinn walked past and one of the lads said "Look it's the fat Geordie bastard". They weren't expecting him to hear it. He turned back and said "Want to say that to my face?" The lad who had said it, 6" shorter than Quinn and half his weight, walked up to him and said "Your a fat Geordie bastard!" and added, "And close up you're ugly too!" Quinn's little mate dragged him away before anything else was said. Made a change from chucking peanuts at McCriirick when he was on camera.
