This is a question asked by many, but always very hard to tell. Is it just Arsenal, or do Chelsea, Man Utd, and other big clubs get decisions smaller clubs wouldn't get? Do clubs like Stoke, Spurs, Everton, Villa get equal decisions, and would they get more points in a fair league? I have always thought that Arsenal get given 10 to 15 points each season to help them compete, but this is not really based on much other than a feeling as the season progresses and decisions go their way. The trouble is that most of the time we accept that 'luck evens itself out' and a decision that goes against Arsenal seems to 'even up' the score despite the many previous decisions that go for them. It is all about perception week to week it seems. Anyway, next season after each game I am going to keep track of this, and base the points won or lost due to referees on a consensus. I want to make it as scientific and factual as possible, so only in clear circumstances will points be awarded or taken away in the 'referee adjusted' league table. Should be interesting. In my view, without referee bias, Tottenham would have finished above Arsenal last year. Next season I am going to run a poll each week to determine after each game the referees influence. Majority rules as they say.
This alone is enough to convince me that you are not a genuine United fan- ever thought of taking up train spotting ?
Nice one Jimbo !!! The fact is that you could debate and scrutinise this subject until the cows come home with out ever reaching a conclusion. Referees are only human and can make mistakes like anyone else ( even Sir Alex makes mistakes and he's BRILL19NT ). They have to make a split second decision based on what they saw in the blink of an eye. Until the introduction of better technology in the game ( don't hold your breath ) mistakes will be made by referees which will be considered to be " bad decisions ". They do not have the benefit of slow-mo replays from 15 different angles, like the arm chair fan or the so called expert pundits who sometimes get hours and hours to mull over the decision before match of the day is screened. The reason teams like United/Chelsea/ Arsenal seem to get more decisions go their way in my opinion is because they generally attack the opposition more, therefore having more fouls against them as a general rule. They also tend to spend more time in the oppositions penalty area, which in turn leads to more penalties, justified or not ! Naturally because United/ Chelsea etc are featured almost continually on TV then the bad decisions that go in their favour or against them are discussed in more detail than say similar incidents that happen week in week out at Bolton, Hartlepool or Crewe .There is no conspiracy theory, just human error - but I must say, even I have considered the influence the new mega rich Arabs and Russians could have on the officials in the game . Lets hope corruption in our game is something we do not have to discuss for a very long time !
It seems he has a man crush on Nasri. He told me he kisses his Nasri poster (with tongues) goodnight before he gets tucked in.

Despite my effort to stimulate a constructive debate, I suddenly remember that this site is full of absolute ****ers !
Football and constructive debate, does not compute. If I want a constructive debate I would use a formm that does not "talk" sport
Well actually the reference was to the fact she's in a united shirt. Maybe this girl is 18 and sniom is 2 or 3 years old, that would make sense.
