Regarding recent events my feelings are pretty well summed up by Bluebaldee on Shinys thread. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/274287-Apoogies-to-CJS I hope you read this. Taking BBC606 into account, you and I go back a long way and despite it only being an internet forum I consider you a friend. Over the years we shared some great laughs and some heartfelt PMâs when tragedy struck you and your family. To be honest Iâm not sure where this forum will go from here as you were the glue that held it all together. I only took the mod role with reluctance at your request due to the s**t you were getting. It was always supposed to be a temporary thing until you decided to continue and now this. I understand your reasons for packing it in, as if you havenât taken enough crap and the recent comments were enough to affect anyone. (Seagme filled me in). All I can ask is you reconsider leaving the forum. By leaving all you have done is made someones mission complete. You are a better person than theyâll ever be and everyone knows that. Have a think about it my friend. God Bless. x.
lets keep the forum going the best we can over wise all his hard work would be for nothing hopefully one day he will come back but its not very likely
Good post. I like you over just a number of months have likened CJS as a friend and was disgusted at the way he was treated by what we must remember is another football supporter. CJS will be missed on this Forum, he was a good poster, great contributor and did lots behind the scenes including running the Twitter account. I feel we have lost a real character and wish both him and his family best wishes. JTS
Yeah won't be the same without him, normally on away games it was just me and him on the match thread
I echo all the good things said above. CJS has been the bedrock of this forum and its driving force. I've known him to be a genuine bloke and the fact that he shows feelings and emotions makes him more of person in my eyes. The other sadness is that the person who drove him to this will see this as some sort of victory, not caring that CJS's absence makes these boards less interesting places for all of us. If you read this CJS thanks for all the hard work and fun.
Real sad to read CJS has left the forum. Living up here it's supporters like CJS who help keep me informed with news and info about our club. I echo the comments above and would also like to thank CJS for all his hard work.
I enjoyed the banter with CJS which never got out of hand it was a laugh.I'm sure there are more Wycombe fans that will miss him as well. We all have moments of posting something that we shouldn't have but to make a decent fella leave is plain wrong. I hope he comes back as he's often on our board with banter with Ron as it makes me laugh at times.
I really hope CJS will come back on here. He is a top bloke and worked hard to grow this forum over the years, and is a true gashead and a great friend for all of us.
I've never been the most frequent poster on either board to put it mildly but CJS was always one of the best on here and came across as a top guy. Hope you come back soon mate!
the trouble with people like captain jack giving up, is that the bad boys will have won and therefore will cause more prolems to the 'good guys' A line must be drawn and quicker more definite solution must be found so that others of a similar intelligence as the Captain are not pushed out. I dont join the banter as I know how quickly one mans banter can become anothers obvious intollerance of the english lanqguage
