    Well, whether true or otherwise, is wellbeck a player we should be looking at? He's not a goal scorer. He's a good player of course but he'll not get us 10-15 goals.

    Either way I agree with above - the only news I want to see is Pardew out - De Boer in.

    The one thing I would like to see on the yellow Sky Sports Bar would be any of the following - 'Alan Pardew resigns as manager of Newcastle United'; 'Alan Pardew sacked as manager of Newcastle United'; 'Alan Pardew leaves Newcastle United by Mutual Consent'; 'Alan Pardew bitch slapped on his way out of Tyneside for being utter dogs**t'.

    De Boer would be quality. I think the dutch manager to watch though is Phillip Cocu after the way his PSV side mugged Ajax yesterday and ended their long unbeaten run.

    I think De Boer's mind is in England now, given his comments last season. Obviously didn't get the Spurs job, isn't getting the Liverpool one, which leaves only one option....in my tiny, optimistic mind.
