It's also about the 20th article in the last week about how Balotelli could be a great signing but could be a **** one. Bit boing now
Nah mate, he went by the same username on bbc606. The old tranny is still using the same stereotypical crap he used on there, hard to believe the self confessed 65yr old could be such a miserable tosser.
Haha, not wrong. What do you think about it? I've tried thinking about how I'd have reacted if we signed him and I'm really not sure.
I wasn't keen when initially linked must admit, but more I thought about it, more I came round to the idea. I don't think anyone can doubt the kid has talent. He's 24, and like Rodgers said, he has everything to become a top class player. He's big, strong, quick, decent on the ball, can finish, decent free kick and pen. You couldn't really ask much more of a CF. However, obviously his work rate doesn't quite fit with the rest of the team. He's a game changer though no doubt. I'd rather have him available to play as a lone striker when Sturridge is injured (which is bound to happen at some point) than Lambert or Borini. At £16m, the risk in terms of money isn't huge as everywhere he's ben he's scored goals. Just depends whether Rodgers can get him to buy into the whole team spirit which it seems he's really implemented since he arrived. I guess, I hope at 24 and after 3 big money moves, he realises it's time to settle down and really kick on.
We're turning into West Brom? Not exactly thrilled by this signing, but I'll happily eat my words if it turns out a success. And UIR, if he only gets one assist but it wins us the title, that'll do me fine.
It's up to him I suppose. He's notoriously an awful trainer and I doubt that'll be accepted for a start off. He's lazy on the pitch as well imo, often just wandering round on halfway. Will he change? Can he change? The odds are long imo as deep down he'll know there'll always be another move out there, as that's the modern game.
I think Balotelli could be a great signing but could be a **** one. Depends on if he has matured and if Rodgers can tame him. No one knows. 50/50 gamble. Either way- he's (relatively) cheap- and worst case scenario, rather him off the bench than Lambert anyway- and we've got Dick Orgy coming from Lille next summer.
Not happy but he'll get my support regardless. I trust Brod, hopefully he can get the best out of Mario.
If we didn't get Telly we would have got Eto'o according to most reports... To me, I think we dodged the worst bullet there.
