Yes he's been targeted by lower league teams, but that doesnt mean he couldnt do a job for us, as a 3rd choice striker, for cup games & europe perhaps. why not?
same physique and style as Augero, small, stocky, wont be pushed off the ball, can run and control the ball at pace, got an eye for the goal, deffo looks a larker
Leicester were heavily linked with him and he was apparently a day from signing (like all the other ones). He hasn't and probably won't.
No idea who he is but Burnsy just retweeted this: Retweeted by David Burns ligue1UK @ligue1UK · 6h @bbcburnsy talk of Andy Delort on his way to Hull City, in London for talks today, Hull have beat Charlton Ath to his signiture ReplyReplied to 0 times RetweetRetweeted 26 times26 FavoriteFavorited 4 times4
He is a 22 year old french striker, scored 24 in 36 games last year for Tours in League 2.
Looks like a, um, Jordan Rhodes type player, strangely enough. Oh and he plundered 24 goals in 36 outings for Tours last season. Looks to be well worth a punt to me, and only 22 years old!
Well he looks to have a decent touch and ability. Strong, quick and can finish. The question would be whether he could make the step up. What's their league like? Similar to the Championship or League 1?
Thanks. Based on this video clip. Well-he looks outstanding! But I am easily impressed by someone that has great dribbling skills, good ball control, is fast, strong, hard to shake off the ball, can pick a team mate with a killer pass, and can himself score goals. Oh and might be had for less than 12 million quid!
Looks promising, but could turn out to be another Proschwitz. Only 22 though so could be worth the risk. Reported that Charlton agreed £2.4m fee so could be a signing in addition to a marque striker like Rhodes
It's like our Championship really, the standard is pretty good over there. If he isn't expensive I'd take the punt, otherwise you never know.
Looks as good as Tijani Belaid did on YouTube... if this lad signs then I hope he's a MUCH better signing than Belaid was.
I really rated Belaid, never worked out why it didn't come off. Probably something to do with his weird eyes.
To be honest I though Belaid had the look of making a good layer but he was just far too attacking/flair type player for blockhead. Not enough pointing and pointless running round like a lost chicken.
Sorry, wasn't very clear with that statement. Belaid only played 8 games for City before being released, agree that he was a good player though. Thinking about that and good ol' Blockhead signings, I wonder what happened to Martin Pusic?
See that's weird because of all the cult players we've had in the last few years, he's actually gone on and done the best. He's actually scoring goals. He was blighted with injury problems though and I think by the time Barmby had evaluated the squad he decided that he wasn't fit enough to feature.
