Just read this, not looking good guys!! Boss Mick McCarthy says he will weigh up whether to make any further additions to his squad, but says heâll not be making any âmajor signingsâ before the transfer window closes a week today. Asked whether heâs looking to add to his squad, McCarthy said: âWeâll see. But weâll not be going out and making any major signings. âWeâll probably assess it afterwards and if we have to use the loan window then thatâs what weâll do.â
The guy sounds like he cant be arsed, all his comments of late have been really childish and/or arrogant!! I know there aint a snowballs chance in hell of him going or being sacked, which is really depressing, i honestly think this will be the dullest season in all the years i have supported the Town!!
Mick for the first time seemed almost " I don't have a clue what to do here " there wasn't the usual fight in a press conference after a game which did alarm me. I'm really hoping Parr comes through the 90 for the under 18s today and lines up at Derby Saturday. Mings isn't championship level, he's league 1 / 2 at best ( right now ) and we need much better. Parr/ Henshall down the left could be a decent pair. CM - Skuse has been awful so far this season and we need another to offer competition there, especially with Wordy going and Bru probably being a solid month away from fitness/ adapting to the English game. Could Collison be the answer!? Not looking brilliant right now Spanish my old chum, I cannot see the opposite as I'd be lying
The comments about M M hearing the fans calling for a player to be subbed on then deciding that that player won't get a game as a result was the sort of thing that killed Roeder's tenure . To actually tell the press his twisted logic is ******ed
