Noticed a fair few in various parts of the ground it can't all be people on holiday can it? Should there be a minimum number of games your pass has to be used, to encourage people to share passes, or could there be a pool pass system for people that commit to the club, but can only make a few games?
There were empty seats all over the place this weekend. Villa vs Newcastle was noticeably not for the football, but for the vast number of empty blue seats.... Football is pricing itself out of the marketplace and unless something is done it will get worse before it gets better.
There were only about 200 unsold home seats yesterday and they were individual seats dotted about all over the place. Stoke didn't completely sell out the away end either, so I wonder what our capacity is now(there looked like less segregation seats yesterday).
It's the norm in the premier league now... You see empty seats at Southampton, Sunderland, Villa Etc even bigger teams like man city have empty seats. Some people are just priced out. Feel for Middlesbrough, such a big stadium and hardly anyone in it
Eh? If you mean the atmosphere, it's constructive criticism, not moaning. On the seats, it's a fact they're empty. Suggesting a way of utilising them's actually a positive. Looks to me that you're the one with the dark cloud outlook.
Every thread I go on, you are there moaning, or having digs at people, if there was a £50 note blowing about in the wind and stopped at your feet, you would complain at how far it was to bend down
Blaming CTWD who were not involved at all and accusing me of being on an ego trip is not constructive criticism, it's being an utter **** who's posting inaccurate bollocks because he's sulking.
I didn't blame ctwd. I'm not sulking at all, I'm trying to look at ways to promote atmosphere, but it's in danger of being stalled by some that think it's fine. You're not wrong about you being on an ego trip though. If only you could take some credit for the move.
I've been on two threads today and i've seen two arguments between them two..... It doesn't half get boring! On topic i didn't really see any in the East Stand, but i did see a good few rows off Stoke supporters left empty.
My brother in law is a season pass holder and didn't go yesterday as he is away on holiday . Not sure if that is a good enough reason for not attending ?
To be fair the entertainment value is much greater than reading expletives from Macca aimed at Eurotiger
Too right, hopefully now we can move forward and address the problems in the ground and leave egos outside. Perhaps an option would be limited game passes? Maybe Cat C or Cat A only, or a mix of all three? I've no idea how practical that is to work though.
